I love anime, manga, drawing, live actions, Japanese/Korean Horror Movies, Horror Survival games (Fatal Frame <3) and pretty much anything else anime-related.
My favorite anime is Ranma 1/2, it is where it all began with my love for anime. My favorite Ranma 1/2 character is 50-50 between Ryoga Hibiki and Akane Tendo.
I really love Magical Girl animes a lot, they are my favorite of all, but I love all kinds of anime and have no real preference as to what I like the most. They all have their good points!

When Ranma 1/2 was first recommended to me, I thought it was weird to have the "1/2" after the end of Ranma, but it soon came into play. The title plays really well into the series, as in Ranma is the main character, and he's like 1/2 a gender. :P I keep fawning over this Anime... :D I know I've seen an episode where Ranma 1/2 and InuYasha cross over into the same episode, and Ranma is something like, "Did your transformation not take full effect," when he sees InuYasha's ears. Have you seen that? Well, I don't know if you've seen InuYasha or not, but it's by the same creator as Ranma, and I've been meaning to get into it, since they're supposed to be really alike in comedy, action, and romance too. I kind of put it on hold. I might get back to it this summer if I have a chance, since it's really long.
I think the Chest Nut's Roasting On An Open Fire Technique is pretty cool! Though I have a couple of questions on that that you might be able to answer: Can you actually do that in real life? And was it just called that technique on the spot when Shampoo's great-grandmother dumped the chestnuts on the open fire? :o
It seems I'm sort of the opposite to you in that regard. My memory is bad with the exception of animes I like. You know how much detail I can go into over certain animes (one in particular) but I can go into a decent amount of detail in things like Bleach as well. My memory for Shakugan No Shana is brilliant but to get really deep into it I'll need to re-watch it again. It seems like dependant on the anime I'd be able to give your group a run for their money. Everything I just said though I think you already knew. I added two more animes to my collection them being Bamboo Blade series 1 and D.Grayman series 1 and 2 (all in one boxset). The shop I go to is relocating to a bigger store so they were giving 10% off so I went a little mad. No worries though I know where its being relocated to :).
I need to order Shuffle! since I've been wanting to for over a year. I miss one of my all time favourite female characters and she's in that. Good old Asa Shigure. With the can't wait to watch it again are you talking about Mai Hime?
I have a movie that takes last place with me. I can't remember what its called and I can't be bothered to check. Something to do with Ocean or something. Again the manga is so much better you'll end up wondering what went wrong. The dubbed voices are decent I seem to remember but I have no problem with most dubs.
I don't know I haven't read the manga yet even though I own all of it that's been released along with the spinoff of the Nagato one. They were boring because they were the same episode 8 times with miniscule changes.
I finished Needless yesterday and got disappointed since the ending was kind of bad. It just left me with some questions that'll never be answered. Nobodies updated anything so I can't check if those questions were answered without me realising it either. I think I was going to watch that once then just didn't. Does it have a mech suit or something in it. If no its not what I was thinking of. I'm going to be starting Mirai Nikki tonight to see why loads of people like it. Also I need something to get rid of the crap I just finished out of my mind. Can't say I've heard of them to be honest. But good luck in the autograph getting and I hope you enjoy yourself.
Ittokousen is literally the only anime where I haven't thought the dub was any good. Again I haven't watched Rayearth so I can't really comment on it. Its not often the theme changes with the language though. When I get back to Ittokousen I'm watching it dubbed. The artwork isn't great but I'm assuming it gets better as the seasons progress (There are 4 afterall).
I have small adverts now and then but I normally check something while they're on anyway.
I can watch rip offs I just don't really like to most of the time. I prefer originality to cheap imitations; If the rip off is good though I will give them credit.
If I had the time, I bet I could watch Ranma 1/2 over and over again. It was amazing, and the characters truly had all these sorts of personalities that were described so well. I wish they would make another season. :/ Probably won't though, since it's already very long. I think you've seen the Ranma movie about where that one bird gets stuck on Kuno's head. By the time the size of the bird was bigger than Kuno himself, I was like no way dude... O_O And then the chubby bird started flying, with Kuno still underneath it, being dragged away. Dang, that must suck for Kuno to have his head up a big, yellow bird's butt all the time. X'D
Wouldn't that be considered cheating though if they were constantly stuffing food into the rival's mouth? I was surprised when they didn't call it off on that one. :o
I also use this App called "BakaReader" which allows me to read Light Novels which is terrific, since I can read Sword Art Online, and lots of other Anime that I liked that came from Light Novels. ;)
My Real Name Is Nathan, I'm 22 And I Am Autistic
I Am Not Allowed Outside On My own, Because Of My Autism, And I Love Anime
Also I Hope You Have A Adventure Today, Thank you Bye Bye
I feel that way when I'm the one talking about the anime which is annoying because most the time I've only just finished it. Bit like Shakugan No Shana and both the assassin animes I own. Something always goes wrong with your postage I swear. I haven't even sent my ninjas out this time because season 2 really isn't worth the effort. I think the main reason for me buying it was I had the manga and wanted to watch the anime before starting on the manga. I'm kinda weird like that. It won't be happening with Haruhi Suzumiya though because the thought of those 8 episodes fills me with dread (not sure if you watched them but they were sooo boring). I'm not sure what decent size is to you. Like for example you know my collection is that decent sized or average? Thanks for all the Sailor Moon knowledge but chances are I'll forget everything you just told me within a couple of days.
You have said you'll be doing that a lot but you always read something else instead. I'm not one to talk though, its taking me about a week to read 10 chapters which I may not be able to do tomorrow but will over the weekend (might be going to see a White Snake tribute band tomorrow it depends how I feel). I can read Manga whenever but anime is a night thing for me. I finished re-watching Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai! last night so I can start its sequel tonight. I have no idea what I'm watching after this though I haven't thought that far ahead so It'll most likely be picked randomly from my list.
I dunno it might have been because Ikkitousen is a fine example of terrible dubbing as well. I can put up with a lot of dubs but if I remember rightly it seems they put a lot of effort in finding voice actors that don't suit the characters at all. That and I wasn't all that bothered about it at the time. I know I watched something worthwhile instead. I have a plan of watching every anime I've given a 10 at least once this year along with at least a large portion of my DVDs.
I'll give that site a go if I ever get stuck. I'm fairly happy with the three I already have though. They are very quick with next to no ads dependant on what player you use and always good quality. I'm using anime season fir the anime I'm watching now.
The manga is popular for good reason. If you ever read it you'll see what I mean by the anime really messing it up. Mizore is a stalker but so is her mother so I think its a Ice Person trait.
Btoom! was good but it never gave off much of a SAO feel because it was bombs. I just know I'd be terrible at the game. I was just warning you just in case you feel it is a SAO rip off and decided against watching it. Its rare I change a rating but I have been known too now and again.
Cousins that were raised as siblings. I wouldn't want to be raised buy any of my uncles or aunts I don't particularly like them. Their relationship is special though and I'm glad Kirito tried to repair the damage he'd done to their relationship in the past. I only knew it was sailor mars because it said so on the box, I don't really know what they look like otherwise.
Just take Needless for what it is, a comedy and don't take any of it seriously and I think you'll enjoy it. Yes all the men are ridiculously buff but that's the animes style. I found it hilarious and then found out the manga expands on the anime and differs slightly which is why I read it.
(I just noticed the Shana picture changed in my favourite characters bit). I couldn't get into Ikkitousen at the time I started watching it and I don't know why. I know after I dropped it I was having trouble finding an anime I actually felt like watching. I think I settled for Heroic Age but I'm not too sure. Vampire Bund is good but episode 1 is just weird.
I know what you mean we've had adverts like that too. As long as the animal is happy that's all that matters. No matter how good the food is at the end if the day its the same stuff so the ads basically become pointless. I kind of want the cat to die. I know I sound really cruel but she is basically a skeleton and is starving herself despite the fact her bowl is full most of the time. There probably is something wrong with her but she's about 17 now so its not worth the money we'd have to pay to sort it (we're running low on money because our dig had a £600 operation to save her life).
Tsukune doesn't do anything in the second season until the last episodes. When I said season 2 I meant the manga. Its split into two which is Rosario + Vampire (first year) and Rosario + Vampire season 2 (second year and a lot of other stuff). I'll be honest the second season is only marginally better than the first anime wise. I think you're going to be disappointed again. I kind if get why they're around him and that's because of his personality (which again is a little better in the manga). I liked Change 123 but I do agree that the main male was basically useless. I know why the creators do that but it is annoying. Part of the reason I liked Yuji in Shakugan No Shana is because he went from useless to extraordinarily powerful and all for Shana's sake. Tsukune is sort of the same in that asoect in the manga only.
I didn't expect you to look into it straight away I just thought I'd at least mention it because I know how much you enjoyed Spice and Wolf. A word of warning it seems very SAO like at the start but don't compare it since I did and nearly stopped watching it. The economy stuff starts at around episode 6ish which is where it gets really good. I don't tend to change my ratings much but I may with Phantom and Darker than Black when I re-watch them depending how I feel.
In the Japanese version, it's Charlotte as well? :P That's too cute for Ryoga. Ah... those times when Ryoga falls into a series of unfortunate events. I like how he fits his role really well though.
When Ranma finally does learn the secret of the Martial Arts Eating Technique, doesn't all he do is like throw the food off of his plate really fast? :o I swear that's what he did, but I can't remember much after that. I know he got free of his binds.
Having a Tablet or something you can download widgets on is sort of nice. I download Manga widgets, and it's really easy to just open to the spot you were on right away. :)
I really liked the anime the first time but then wondered why the second. I suppose the best thing about it is the main character girls (all except Moka I don't like either of her forms). You'll be pleased to know the bat has a bigger part in the second season :P. He's barely in the manga and he definitely doesn't commentate. If you do read the manga you'll wonder where the hell the anime went wrong. The manga is amazing. If memory serves me the second season is slightly better but not by a huge amount. Those three nerdy monsters are the furthest thing from a threat you can get. Oh the manga's also better because Tsukune actually does something worthwhile. Slight spoiler is he becomes a Ghoul but other than that I won't say anything else. The anime only followed the manga slightly yet they'd have a great anime if they followed it properly.
Eh don't worry about it, I've been lucky with my animes recently. You'd probably like Log Horizon which I've just finished. Its set in a virtual world where they are trapped (I know it sounds very SAO like) but as it goes into it it starts focusing on the economy of the world. 'in certain ways its like Spice and Wolf in the way it is intelligent so I suggest you give it a try if the anime you're watching isn't meeting your standards. Also Log Horizon has a second season coming out in fall of this year (which I was happy to find out). As for me now I'll be re-watching Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai! so I can go into its second season which finished airing not long ago.
Black Blood Brothers was really good. I tried to watch Ikkitousen but I watched one episode and realised I really wasn't in the mood for it and watched something else instead. I don't know when I'll get back to it. Dance in The Vampire Bund is good but you have to be patient with the first episode which makes it seem quite bad. I've got the whole manga and the side stories so I'm looking forward to reading them. I think I dropped My Bride is A Mermaid over a year ago but my anime preferences have broadened since them so I will pick it back up one day but like you I don't know when.
Our cat is basically skin and bones. We feed her but she never eats her food and eats anything else. It'll be a blessing to her when she dies (bad I know but she is literally starving herself and she is old). I don't really like cats since they think they are royalty. Much rather have dogs. That cat food commercial sounds terrible too so I don't blame you for getting annoyed. Its still meat and jelly in a tin at the end of the day.
I just tolerate the site. It messes up now and then but its such a slight annoyance It doesn't bother me. I still need to read 10 chapters of needless though which I think I'm putting off on purpose subconsciously. I'll definitely finish it tomorrow though so I can start on something else. You asked me about Needless a while ago did I help you make a decision on it?
I knew that name sounded familiar. Yeah I didn't like him either. He's the friend who tries to be useful but is a liability. I see what you mean about the character's personality resemblance. Grew up like siblings but are actually cousins. I've seen animes like that where they get together. I think Suguha is the only one I actually like that is like that though. In others the main character is much better suited for someone else. Kirito may be with Asuna but Suguha doesn't try to actively steal him away and is content with just being by his side so she's different. I went off on a tangent there sorry. In other news I saw a Sailor Mars figurine thingy the other day and forgot to tell you (seems I can find a lot of things you could potentially want)
I can't remember but I think there was various battles between organizations where they used contractors. Hei got his title as The Black Reaper before he got his powers. Him and his sister were feared by others. Hei isn't technically a contractor but his sister was. Its her power that he uses. Since she controlled electricity she was able to rearrange molecules and things like that so she fused with Hei, so Hei uses here power therefore has no contract he has to pay. Its explained a lot better in the anime but I'm not sure if that's a part you missed. I watched an anime where the subs were scrambled and horribly out of sync for an episode. Needless to say I had no idea what was happening in the episode. Luckily it wasn't a very intelligent anime and it was early days of my addiction. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if that anime isn't on my list (In fact I don't think it is but I'll leave it because I can't really remember it).
I had to reread it to see what we were talking about. We were talking about me being a jerk towards Raiya so the must own would be Sword Art Online (which is sitting there calling for me). I need to get back to animes I haven't watched so I can forget about it for a few months. I'm tempted to re-watch a lot of animes I own but I don't want to repeat any animes for at least a month or so. Before I forget I watched Black Blood Brothers and it was quite good you may enjoy it (Its a vampire thing).
There was a advertisement about a film called machine that annoyed me while I was watching Kimikiss Pure Rouge but I zoned it out. I like silent commercials that I can skip after a short while. A lot of players I use have them. When an anime is treated better than a human huh (I think you meant animal so I'm gonna go with that). We've had a bad time with one of our dogs recently. Basically she had to have an operation where she might die or she would definitely die. She had the operation but she's now fine. I don't know what classes as treating an animal better than a human though since I've been around animals my whole life. I use Mangafox for my manga and that's ok now it works for me again. Which reminds me I really need to finish Needless.
Who's Armin Arlert? I think if Asuna wasn't in the picture Suguha and Kirito would make a great couple because he does seem to have the same repressed feelings as her. Kirito kept up with her for a short while but his real body wasn't as fast as his virtual one so he ultimately lost.
It wasn't that she was too powerful it was that she couldn't control that power because it was unpredictable. She also didn't want to lose control and attack Hei because even though she was a doll she had emotions when it came to him. I liked Hei though the big bad assassin who only became an assassin so he could stay by his sister's side. He was so good he killed contractors before he even got his power. Now I want to re-watch it.
But it is a must own. I own it and I keep wanting o watch it again now. I'm the same with Shakugan No Shana though and a few others. I'll let you smooth things over with her I barely know her after all.
The manga has the same concept until you get to season 2 of the manga where the story changes drastically and gets much better. Makes me wish the anime followed suit but for some reason it didn't. Rosario + Vampire was the first manga I ever bought so it has a special place in my collection. I have all 22 volumes that have been released. I can read mnanga online and watch anime online. That's actually where I do most of my reading and watching. I don't mind ads too much because I've got used to them. The player I use for Log Horizon doesn't even have ads on it so its a win win. No idea when I'll even watch Mai-Hime since I know what I'm going to be watching for the next 5 days but after that I have no idea..
I have a few animes planned out in my head but after that I think I'll just wing it and see where that gets me. I probably just look on my list. I never really cared for Suguha but I do now. I don't care for Leafa though even though they are the same character. She'd better never get with Recon though I don't like him.
I thought Mikado Sanzenin and Azusa Shiratori were siblings. Wasn't Mikado always telling Azusa off for stealing things that weren't hers? XP I'll just continue to think of themas siblings or either partners. Naming Ryoga "Charlotte," despite the fact that this certain "Charlotte" is a boy. Unless he's called something else in the Japanese version.
Martial Arts Dining would just creep me out. Like, how would you control your mouth so well to the point where you can fit whole watermelons into your mouth?? :O There were so many different types of Martial Arts, I could go on and on forever about them. (That would take too long... :/ ) Have a great day, and enjoy watching Fairy Tail! ^_^ (Sorry for any typos... Typing on my Tablet...)
She wanted Hei to kill her because her power was going out of control if my memory serves me correctly. Suou was a real person but she died as a child but her brother revived her (in a way) and gave her false memories so she thought she had led a decent life. In the end its hinted that Hei saved yin by separating her from that power then disappearing with her so it was a somewhat happy ending.
I know bits of Fairy Tail since an old friend of mine I don't speak to anymore wouldn't shut up about it (not the reason we don't talk anymore). Aw now Raiya hates me I'll have to sort that out somehow, any suggestions. Also tell her if she does ever have time a reply would be appreciated :).
Hmm seems like other than TGWLTT, Rosario + Vampire will be the first we both have. The manga is much better than the anime but that's true with a lot of things sadly. I don't get why they differ so much though. Anyway I won't spoil it. I think I know who your favourite character will be (one of two at least). I think now I have ALL of SAO (:p) I will look into getting all the animes I've gave a ten too that are actually out on DVD starting with Shuffle!. Oh I also noticed you've watched Eden of The East but nit the movies. You need to watch the movies as well to get the full story of the anime. I gave it a ten for the overall story.
I've already finished it and already want to re-watch it again. I always feel like this after I watch one of my favourite animes again. I suppose I have to wait for the second season comes along before I watch it again. The only difference this time is that I found I liked Suguha much more than usual. Must be because I watched it dubbed for the first time and she just sounds adorable. Still like Silica and Lizbeth though and I do hope they are in the second season somehow. Sorry I went into a bit of a tangent there. Anyway enjoy Fairy Tail and any other anime you are watching (If any) and I'll speak to you soon :).
In other news I'll be starting SAO tonight and I finished Black Blood Brothers which I think you'd probably enjoy. Again I hope you have a speedy recovery.
