Why do I have a bad feeling that this 'Chaos' will just decide to reveal itself in some capacity to spread mass-panic, thus giving itself more power?
When she said chaos, all I thought of was, "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!!" But am I crazy to think that? She even said demons are associated with chaos.
No, this definitely has the same vibes as Chaos from Warhammer. In which case all I can say is "Get the Flamer, the HEAVY Flamer."
Tell someone to prepare in case of an emergency, and they'll be worried about that emergency forever. Don't tell anyone to prepare for an emergency, and they'll be helpless if it ever happens. So it seems like the only choice left is to make sure the emergency never happens...but then you're the one suffering so others don't have to, and there's only so much anyone can do, even with a Knighthood of helpers. Seems like a no-win scenario to me.
Feels weird seeing a woman talking about complex topics and fate while in short shorts and on weird couch thing
What it says to me is "Let's be real, you don't genuinely care about any of this, you just wanna see her tits."
I think it's Chalo having very little self-control. It's one of those difficult disciplines that fetish artist tend to learn but he's just never had to.
Ah, so basically, let everyone be caught completely unaware once shit goes sideways. Which she apparently KNOWS it's going to.
Yeah, wow, what a great and wise leader Ambar is.
Also, what emperor? You mean the one from a thousand-someodd years ago who literally LED those forces of chaos? Or is this another character who totally existed this whole time but we somehow never heard of until now?
Oh, and don't even try to pretend like there's a chance Miles and Rachael won't serve, you've built that up as basically their only choice and spent enough time having Miles be all "OMG WE GON BE SUPAHEROES OwO" (and enough time has been spent powering up and gratifying Miles in general) that it's not exactly a mystery.

It's so dumb.
There's no reason for the Knighthood to not be public.
There's no reason to not spread some type of information about chaos and educate people about it.
Most of the population of Primes have superpowers (which literally can't be used by the enemy as Knoghthood recently established) that could not only help this cause but improve their lives in general and Ambar is just denying them that.
Somehow all of this has stayed hidden successfully, even though you have people like Ayah burning down buildings and making weirdo cults.
It's all built on sticks man, and it's not even built on that for the sake of s good story lol We're being denied interesting stuff because of arbitrary rules that make no sense and some pretty disastrous world building and characterization.

Yeah, that's another thing, this bullshit about all the Primes having these latent superpowers on top of the high-stakes crisis story no one's paying attention to because Chalo and SK are under the impression that they're crafting the furry equivalent of the MCU, and yet the Crests need to keep their abilities secret and Mora was looked at like some kind of anomaly for not being at least concussed by Alej breaking a shotgun stock over her head.
They're never going to make the need to keep it a secret make sense, nor are they going to make it beleivable that they were able to keep it a secret either. Minos was using his super strength on the regular without sny care at all. Geecku has just been...around. None of the Knights have ever gotten bored or greedy and showed off their fire balls or energy shields or ability to create tsunamis from small lakes to people. Somehow no one has manifested their powers due to some happenstance. People know about the Nara's, Mora was even able to get into some holding cell they kept her pops in, but somehow not chaos.
Oh, Mora gets the gunstock to the back of the head, yeah. But I think like 20 pages or so later, the mouse girl shoots Miles out of a cannon, whoch is followed by an explosion and it's just played for comedy. And i think you brought up before, Minos basically threw some people into space. How does anyone die in this universe?

Holy shit, yeah, I'd nearly forgotten about Miles being shot out of Not-Gustaff's cannon. And good point too about how fast='n-loose they play the seriousness and the threat of death and whatnot. One big problem is this comic doesn't know its own audience. Someone else once compared it to suddenly seeing someone get a pie to the face Three Stooges-style in Breaking Bad, it fits about as comfortably as a glove made of thorns and highlights how uneven the tone is.
Also, close, Minos threw gophers into the sky. And they landed on the remote island Ailana was from. Which apparently is supposed to be somewhere in or near the Caribbean, because Idward was dropped there in the middle of being shipped to fuckin' Aruba like Garfield mailing Nermal to Abu Dhabi, way back when the comic took itself about ten times less seriously.

They need to go ahead and just say Primes have various levels of super durability, it'll make it so much for them in the long run.
And Miles was shitting himself when Geecku told him what she was. Why would he be acting all excited when his life was threatned just for potentially finding out. Once again, you have a girl right next to him that loves to punch and kick to the point of getting into a physical scuffle with a cow that's nearly x1.5 her size, yet Miles the cynical bastard who doesn't even like the idea of hard work is the one excited about being a superhero lol Why is this comic so against simple character writing
You say that like Rachael's character hasn't been massively changed in the process of turning her into Miles' dream girl. And yeah, it's amazing how Miles, who could barely find it in himself to buy Geecku's story (rightfully so, since it's full of holes and lore contradiction), expressed anger and distrust over Minos lifting the plane, and absolutely lost his shit when Sammy put her fuckin' special eyes to work, turned on a dime once Minos survived a bullet to the head and became an excited doe-eyed fanboy.
It's so weird. Miles is basically a few steps away from just being a self-insert and yet it's like they don't know him. How does that even happen lol
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAh yea and the Man Emperor of Mankind had the same plan during the great crusade I will admit Amber you are doing a better job by letting the knights know about chaos but your one city attack or a show of force till the house of cards falls and everyone world wide will demand an explination.
If fearing Chaos makes it stronger, than showing courage in the face of it will make it weaker.
If your existence is fragile, then you are better of trying to teach your children how to make it stronger than just keeping them blind. But... I am prejudiced in this regard. I am human. That is how we survived this long.
I often wonder why the primes chose to ally with us. Was it really JUST because we happened to be on the first habitable planet they found?
I doubt that.
We aren't as strong as the primes. Or as wise, or as long-lived, and we are most CERTAINLY not as advanced-- either technologically, spiritually, or ideologically.
But... We're stubborn.
Very stubborn.
Humans aren't the strongest, swiftest, or even necessarily the smartest beings around. Even just on our own world.
But we are the most stubborn. And when we decide something is worth loving, worth protecting, well...
We're unstoppable.
I honestly think humans are what will give Primes the edge against Chaos. Time will tell.

And she brought this chaotic war to our doorstep. We were under the impression our she was temporary until the resurgence of the big bad evil. Then our holy grounds, buried dead, monuments, and way of life were reduced to space rubble. It doesn’t matter if Ambar lent Minos a ship to keep scouting because I doubt he got around to using it. This war and vicious cycle was a spit in the face of our hospitality. And I’m sure most of the humans of “Neo Earth” share my opinion. 😑
Actually, Ambar was born on Earth shortly after the Primes first arrived. The Primes had been there for over 1,000 years living quietly among human by the time the Big Bad came along and brought the ancient Prime war to Earth. In fact, most of the current Crests were children or not born yet when the migration to Earth happened. So for once, we can't pin this on her.
Well, what about that Crest Diaries comic where Minos was a general in the Empire’s army and fought Ambar on Prism the homeworld of the Primes?
That was a two-page one-shot made before Chalo really finalized anything about them, hence why it ended up scrapped and largely forgotten. He's even drawn Ambar as a child in ancient China since then.
Yeah, well Makima from Chainsaw Man got reincarnated as Nayuta in China, too.
These stories were secretly just Chalo telling us that China controls the world.
