Marimba Solo: Moonlight Sonata (Beethoven) - 3rd Movement
Another of my experiments in which I took a piano solo and remade it for marimba. This is the famous Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven. I just decided to keep it as three separate scores instead of doing one big score like I did for the Pathetique sonata.
I'm not sure if it is possible to play some of these piano pieces on marimba; you may need to be talented with multiple mallets, or have multiple marimbas. But the beauty of MuseScore is that you can experiment with these things, so that is what I am doing here.
This is the third and final movement, and arguably the most difficult one to play. Yet people have done amazing things with it; the 8-Bit Big Band, for example, which is a full-sized jazz orchestra that usually does arrangements of video game music, actually took this third movement and made a spectacular jazz standard out of it!
