Originally meant to be cookies, I managed to salvage a mistake and turned it into a delicious success!
Here’s what I did:
1-preheat oven to 350f and butter a nonstick muffin tray
2-mix 1 package of gingerbread cookie mix with 1 egg, 1/2cup butter, 1cup water and 2-3cups flour until all ingredients are combined and you have a batter-like dough
3-distribute your batter-dough equally into each spot on your muffin tray
4-bake for 22-24 minutes (use a toothpick to confirm that your cakes are cooked all the way through, if clean they’re done and if not cook for another 2 minutes. Careful not to overcook/burn!)
5-let cool for 5 minutes then decorate with festive frosting/toppings
6-serve to your party guests and enjoy!
Merry Christmas!
