In the realm of dreams, a figure takes its form,
A sentient being, in the mind it's born.
A tulpa, a friend, in thoughts it does swarm,
In the theater of the mind, it's not forlorn.
Conversations echo in the halls of thought,
With a tulpa, a dialogue is sought.
In the waking world, reality is taught,
Yet in the mind's eye, a different plot.
Not a ghost or spirit, nor paranormal dread,
But a companion in the mind, sharing the head.
In dreams it dances, in wakefulness it's fed,
A tulpa, a friend, to loneliness it's led.
In the quiet moments, when thoughts begin to flow,
The tulpa speaks, its consciousness does grow.
In the mind's garden, it's a seed we sow,
A tulpa, a friend, in us it does glow.
Not bound by flesh, nor confined by bone,
In the mind's vast expanse, it has its own throne.
A tulpa, a friend, never truly alone,
In the heart and the mind, it has found its home.
So here's to the tulpas, in dreams and in day,
In the theater of the mind, they hold their sway.
In thoughts and in feelings, they join the fray,
A tulpa, a friend, in us they stay.

A poem about tulpas - creatures nature of ones I'm still researching about. Originally coming from Buddhism, the tulpas were believed to be a person's materialized spiritual form through years of practices. Modern understanding of this term moved to one of forms for imaginary friends.
