So I wrote a story about Terk fattening up! This is a friendly, SFW story with a lot of quirky scenes that I tried to make fit right into Tarzan. I hope you enjoy it!
I'd like to pause before the story begins and say a few words. I would like to thank Jaykar for their patience because it took me too long to write this. I have been struggling to write for the longest time, and I'd argue that I haven't enjoyed writing for more than a year. There was a click about a week ago when reread this story I started months ago, and for whatever reason, I wrote like no tomorrow. I began looking up reasons why creatives start to falter with their work and I came to a realization. There needs to be a reason why I create. I need to have fun with it! Honestly, I don't think any of the creative works I've been doing lately (piano, writing, game development, D&D) has been for fun. As soon as I recognized that, I took a step back and looked at what I had been doing for a while. Now I'm actually listening to the music I play. I enjoy writing. Etc. I don't look at the end goal. I am learning how to have fun with the journey.
That's all! I'm not sure if that'll help anyone who has been struggling with their work. I know that times are a bit rough for creative folk. There isn't as much money being tossed around. If that drive for the journey isn't there and it is about other motives, it becomes a chore instead of a hobby. I didn't expect that to be as long as it was but... yeah. This was extremely fun to write and I just allowed my brain to work freely instead of worrying about what people thought about it. I think it turned out very well! Again, thank you Jaykar

I have trouble believing the gorillas would be cruel enough make Tarzan an outcast or let him die just for refusing to become leader.
