Second and Final Half through the day.
A new Dragon with size changing abilities is brought to Earth to face Giant Robo in the 21st Episode of the series, The Mummy Monster.
Appearance and Abilities: The Second Dragon was nothing like its predecessor, as it could, under the control of the Mummy Man, shapeshift its size, making it as small as dog or far bigger than Giant Robo itself – its other ability was fire breath and fire projectiles. Different from the first Dragon, it was Blue in color with white line running over its body.
Its roar, depending on it size, can be a Moan when in Human or Kaiju size, to a high pitch screech when small.
Weaknesses: High Voltage Electricity.
Notable Importance: it marked the first time Robo killed one of the BF's commanders directly. Up until then, the other Commanders had fallen either at the hands of Unicorn intervention (Dr. Snake been shot), their own mistakes (Metro and Red Cobra) or their monsters by accident (Spider), if not executed by Guillotine for their failures (Black Diamond and Dr. Over). It also marked the first time that Robo, heeding someone else's voice (Mari) acts by his own will to find Daisaku.
_Story_
Close to the Green Hills residential Apartment buildings, a robe man with thick bandages climbs a water reservoir tower and pours a red liquid into the drinking water; soon after some of the local residents began to transformed into mummified husks after drinking it. Unicorn suspects the hand of Big Fire behind this calamity, but is soon confirm when they receive a gramophone disk in an unmarked letter from the assailant - the new Commander of the BF Japanese Branch, the Mummy Man - who demands the surrender of Giant Robo or Tokyo will be mummified. Soon there after, they detected an object from space over Okutama Airspace.
The Object lands next to a Monastery, where is picked up a group of "Nuns" and taken inside – realizing the coordinates are close to the city's largest water supply, Azuma tasks Minami, Daisaku and Mitzuko on the mission; the three depart to Okutama disguise as tourists and while on scout, the trio come to discover that close to the Reservoir lies the White Collar Monastery, but this bars access to men, so Mitzuko goes in thinking a woman coming to confess her sins would not arose suspicion.
Inside the Monastery however, is the latest Field base of the BF Group, commanded by the Mummy Man, who reveals what Emperor Guillotine had sent in that package, the size change Kaiju Dragon – the latter feature which he controls by a remote. The demonstration is cut short when Mitsuko is spotted, thinking the Nuns she meets holding a silent prayer, she is then taken to the cathedral to talk with the "Abbess" who soon guides her down to take her confession, but too late to realize she was lead into a mausoleum and a trap, where she finds the Mummified Bodies of the real Nuns of the Abbey and meets the Mummy Man (who was disguised as the Abbess). U5 tries to call for and U7, but learns the signal is been jammed. The fiends decide to use her as bait to dragged the other Us 3 and 7 who by now have come to realize they can't communicate with neither Mitzuko or HQ.
The two then decide to go into the Monastery to investigate it; they find the BF guards, unawares they had already been found out and heading into a trap. While Minami finds Mitzuko, Daisaku sneaks into the Cathedral where the Mummy Man and his man spring their trap – Mitsuko is brought by one of the "fake Nuns" under the barrel of a gun. Daisaku is disarm and the Microphone Watch is taken from him, but before Mummy Man can transform U7 into one, U's 5 and 3 (the latter disguise as a Nun) make their move and shot the bottle from his hand, but the villain springs a trap of his own and the trio fall into the Mausoleum Prison.
As Mummy Man readies to release the Mummification Poison, Azuma – having not heard from the Agents for 5 hours now – carries out a search for them with the rest of the Unicorn Group; but after the search yields nothing, even getting tricked by Mummy Man in the Abbess disguise, the group returns to base and wait next to Robo, though by now Azuma presumes (correctly) U7 have been captured and the watch taken. Mari comes with the solution to use Robo's Electronic Mind to track the location of the Watch by using the same Eletronic Radio Wave frequency, but Azuma's has his doubts as Robo can only function with Daisaku's voice. In a remarkable turn of events, after hearing Mari's plead and reminded of his friendship with Daisaku, Robo's brain activates and proceeds to pinpoint the location of the Watch as Mummy Man speaks. Mari and Azuma come to realize the location is the Monastery and Unicorn launches a raid in force before hand.
Mummy Man then releases Dragon, breaking through the Cathedral, to attack the Unicorn Team while BF readies the release of the Mummification Poison. In the chaos, Mari sneaks into the Cathedral basement and find the control room as the villains are about to execute the trio – Mari opens fire, rescues the trio and releases some of the Poison on to BF agents, Mummifying them, but Mummy Man proves impervious to bullets or to Punches – in fact, Minami rips his right arm with no effect of pain and the fiend escapes through a secret passage, though the Watch is recover and Daisaku calls for Robo's help to face the Kaiju. The Mecha arrives on time as Azuma and his men are pinned down by the Beast on one side and armed BF Agents on the other.
Dragon uses its size changing abilities to avoid Robo's Megaton Punch, then grows 3 times its size, so Robo flies circles around him and then fires its Super Jet Line and tangles the monster with it; Robo releases a high voltage discharge which electrocutes Dragon, who burns up and explodes. But the danger is far from over as the Mummy Man opens fired from the top of the Tower Bell; Daisaku has Robo use its Optic Beams on Mummy Man – the villain then falls from the tower to his death, breaking into pieces on impact with the ground. Interestingly, all the people transformed into Mummies are free from their state and restore to normal and cheer up to Robo for saving them.
