My previous submission, Eye of the Void, was based on a dream I had. This song is an expansion to that dream, whereas this is made not for a tornado, but a giant maelstrom in the middle of the sea. Inside is another generator creating the maelstrom, and it must be stopped before it generates massive tsunamis. This song includes a leitmotif of the oboe portion from Eye of the Void, but using French horns and cellos instead.

I like in the audio that kind of humming noise. It's like the engine of this machine the "Maelstrom maker" functioning as one's forced to race through this facility...is it a temple? Or An advanced science station either way. We the listeners are fighting through it. We know it's life or death and we're not letting anyone stop us. Though it's a long fight that seems to be taxing, like it's a fight of stamina and attrition while the enemies are unending we're getting closer but, can we reach the machine before it releases the "World Ender Storm"
This sounds like it belongs in a video game as either boss music or the tension music for fighting through an enemy base

You hit the nail on the head with this one. The generators I envisioned were a blend of ancient magic and advanced technology. World Ender Storm has a nice ring to it.
I could see that this was once an ancient machine made by a hyper advanced race that destroyed them selves by accidently boosting their power so much their bodies just vanished but, their tech stayed around. This machine was once peaceful to make weather but, with no one to take care of it and ensure it's good repair. It eventually malfunctioned and became the Maelstrom maker. And it used to be every X amount of years it'd make a major storm but, after one of the weather readers did the math. They realized if the source isn't found and destroyed the next storm unleashed would decimate the world
Ah, that does for so well. What I envisioned is similar to that. I pictured ancient crystals created by alchemy, but they become unstable the greater in size they grow. The technology of today is used to compliment the ancient machinery and grow the crystals well beyond what would have been possible in the past. However powerful these generators are, they serve two purposes: to experiment with hybrid technologies, and to distract the main characters from the true project, being a generator housing all 3 crystals. A generator capable of destroying the world.
