Two days later
Life in Gothenburg has slowly begun to return to normal after the dragons' attack. Liseberg, Göteborgs Trädgårdsförening, Nordstan shopping centre and Ullevi are still closed due to the fires and the dragons' other damage, but otherwise the streets have started to fill with people again. The Nordstan shopping center must be completely rebuilt before they can reopen.
Lots of cleaning machines have cleaned up all the excrement that the dragons have spewed. Liseberg was the most affected by the dragons' diarrhoea, and the attraction that took the longest to clean from the faeces is Flumeride because there is so much water constantly flowing there and the pooping dragons completely clogged the pumps.
The burned down villas in Åby and Mölndal have started to be demolished and new villas will be built little by little. The police are helping to identify those who died in the house fires and to contact relatives. It is a difficult job for the police but it has to be done. A priest accompanies when a death sentence is given to the relatives. Anyone who is alive and homeless after the dragons' attack gets lots of money from their insurance companies.
Other villas that the dragons ignited still stand as sooty skeletons. They will also demolished over time. The worst affected areas are Toltorp, Tuva and Lervik.
Those who have had their apartments destroyed by the dragons' fire in the city are temporarily living in several hostels.
The people who died in the dragon attack at Ullevi in particular but also Liseberg and the Nordstan shopping center have begun to be buried. In some cases, only the ashes remain of the dead. Some of the funerals are well attended, but at a few not a single relative comes.
All the people are involved and help each other more than they normally do. The dragons' attack has affected pretty much the entire city and there are many people who need help with their traumas.
Hisingsparken is full of people who want to see the dragon queen's nest. The police are there and make sure that it happens in a good and safe way. The old mine in Toltorp is also visited by curious people. The cave in Åby where the white dragon queen lived is visited by some tourists and also the old mine where the black dragon queen lived is also visited by tourists and curious people. But no one is allowed to visit the cave where it all began because it has completely collapsed and is considered too dangerous to enter.
Gothenburg Post has written several articles about what happened in 1909 and the differences between now and then. There are many people who did not even know about the events that took place in 1909. Sven is once again hailed as a hero.
Hasse is also hailed as a hero even though he has not appeared in any interviews. It is the defense that has told Hasse not to appear for any interview. Hasse does not understand why he is not allowed to participate in any interview but accepts what they have told him.
The progress of the dragons is lively debated on TV. Many who have been affected by the dragons are interviewed. Some of them are sad and some are really angry
Hasse and Madelene are just about to leave the apartment for the trip to Mallorca when there is a knock on the front door. Hasse opens and there is a younger guy from the defense. He has a thick folder with him and hands it to Hasse.
- Here is an early report about the dragons and what happened here in Gothenburg. The task leaders from Åby and Toltorp thought you might want to read it.
- Okay. Thanks.
- Are you going somewhere? You have a lot of bags and other things, I see.
- Yep. We will go to Mallorca and rest up.
- If you want, you can read the report during the trip. By the way, here's the dragon horn. Those who killed the dragons thank you for the loan.
- No problem. It is clear that I wanted to help.
Hasse stands and thinks but receives the report and the dragon horn. The man from the defense goes down the stairs and Hasse closes his door.
- This young guy was nicer than the task leader from Åby.
- The task leader from Åby was probably angry because you didn't tell the truth from the beginning with the police. Then all this could have been avoided.
- On the other hand, we might not have met in that case.
- I find it hard to believe that the dragons would affect us in that way.
- You came with me to the cave.
- But then we had already met at least twice.
- Oh, that's it. I had forgotten that.
- Hasse. I'm just going to the bathroom.
- Sure do.
Madelene goes to the toilet and Hasse remains in the hall with the report in hand. Should he bring it or not? In the end, he decides to bring the report. Hasse puts the report plus some pocket books in the hand luggage. Maybe he can read the report on the flight to Mallorca.
Hasse places the dragon's horn by a windowsill in the living room. Hasse looks at the painting that contains the blue mane that he cut off from the male in Åby before the dragon was burned. Hasse can feel a certain missing of the dragon male. After all, he saw it die at very close range. Hasse also misses the dragon queen even though he saw her give birth to baby dragons.
Madelene comes out of the toilet and pulls her bag out of the apartment. Hasse follows and drags his bag with him. He locks the front door carefully and smiles at Madelene. Now they are going to have a good time and forget all the terrible things that have happened in the last week.
Hasse and Madelene go down to the garage and put their bags in the trunk and drive to Gothenburg airport. They are in good time before the plane takes off and flies to Palma Nova. Check-in and security go quickly and they sit down and wait in the waiting hall. It's 30 minutes before the plane leaves.
Madelene goes to buy a women's magazine while Hasse buys a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll. Hasse takes a quick look at the leaflets in the evening papers. The dragons in Gothenburg are no longer the biggest news. Instead, it is mostly about a big hurricane in the USA where many have died.
Hasse and Madelene go back to the waiting hall and sit on two chairs. Madelene flips through her women's magazine and Hasse considers whether to pick up the report from the defense and start reading it but doesn't.
After waiting for a while, everyone is allowed into the plane and Hasse and Madelene sit in the designated seats. The flight will be around 5 hours without any stopovers and both Hasse and Madelene have ordered lunch. Schnitzel and fried potatoes will apparently be served. Hasse and Madelene put on their seat belts and lean back in the comfortable chairs. Madelene looks at Hasse.
- Shall we watch a romantic movie during the trip?
- If you want it, we can do it. Is there a particular movie you want to see?
Madelene looks through the list of movies available and soon finds one she wants to see.
- Sleepless in Seattle is so romantic. I want to see it.
- It's good. Tom Hanks plays that role so well.
- And Meg Ryan too.
The plane takes off and when it is at cruising altitude, Madelene starts the movie and both Hasse and Madelene watch it together. When the food is served, they take a short break from watching the movie and enjoy the food even if it doesn't taste much. When the film is over, Hasse and Madelene sit and talk to each other about everything except dragons and what happened in Gothenburg.
The journey goes very quickly and after five hours the plane lands on La Palma and all the travelers go to get their bags and go out to all the buses that will drive to the respective hotels. Hasse and Madelene soon find the bus they are going to take and when the bus is full, the driver drives them all to the hotel. After a 20-minute drive, they arrive at the hotel.
It is not a very luxurious hotel that Hasse and Madelene have chosen, but breakfast and lunch are included in the price and there is a nice beach five minutes' walk from the hotel. Hasse and Madelene get their room and it is on the second floor and is very nice. They go up to their floor and enter the room and put their bags down. Hasse opens a door that leads to a larger balcony and stands enjoying the view. Both Hasse and Madelene are still full from the food they got on the flight and they are thinking about what to do now.
Madelene has a good idea. She wants to swim and when she says so, Hasse also wants to swim, so they change into swimwear and start walking down to the beach. Hasse has his bag with the report from the defense and some pocket books and sunglasses. Madelene also has a bag with her, but there are only a few pocket books and sunscreen and sunglasses. Hasse and Madelene immediately each find a free sunbed when they come down to the beach and there aren't that many people swimming right now because many people in Mallorca are resting at this time. It's the hottest time of the day, but Hasse and Madelene think it's warm enough. Hasse decides to start by bathing and he jumps into the warm water. The warm water feels nice against his skin and he really enjoys it.
After swimming for almost 20 minutes, Hasse comes ashore and sits down in the sun lounger he has chosen. Madelene goes and buys several pieces of split honeydew melon from a vendor on the beach who has just arrived. Madelene gives Hasse four pieces of honeydew melon and she eats the other four she bought. The melon is juicy and tasty and they both get sticky on their fingers and when they have finished eating they wash their hands in a sink in a toilet nearby. Madelene wants to swim and she takes off her blouse and she has her bathing suit on under it and she goes into the water.
Hasse puts on his sunglasses and picks up the report on the dragons and begins to read it. The report consists mostly of text, but Hasse is surprised when he sees the pictures of the dragon couples in the caves and mines. Their colors are very reminiscent of several of the baby dragons that the dragon queen in Hugo's cave gave birth to. It's almost as if they were reborn by her somehow.
Hasse reads about the dragons' changed DNA and finds out that Robert and the task leader from Åby actually discovered it by pure chance. If Robert hadn't asked for blood samples to be taken on the dragons, it would never have been discovered. Hasse thinks it's a little scary that it was like that.
Hasse also gets an explanation as to why he is not allowed to talk in the media about the dragons. The defense feel very bad that they didn't check the caves and mines until after all the chaos had already happened. Hasse silently thinks that it's a good thing that nothing worse than dragons happened.
Hasse sees the pictures of the baby dragons in the park by the avenue. He can see that they must be a day old at the most and he thinks it's strange that they were alone in the park. Hasse reads that they did not belong to any of the dragon pairs. If so, who did they belong to? Hasse thinks this is very strange. He knows that baby dragons this small don't do very well on their own and need to be fed at regular intervals. Hasse believes that the defense should have taken more time and tried to find where the dragon cubs came from.
There are several pictures on Avenyn as well and both Hasse and the defense make the same big mistake. They don't look closely enough at the pictures showing the apartment buildings. In one of the pictures, Olle can be seen quite clearly in his kitchen window, but nobody notices that detail.
Hasse is so engrossed in reading that he doesn't notice when Madelene comes up from the water and sits down in her sun lounger. Madelene looks curiously at Hasse and wonders what he is reading and after a few seconds she realizes that it is the report about the dragons that he got before they left home that he is reading and she gets a little annoyed. Why did he take it on vacation?
- Is it interesting reading, darling?
- Nah. Not really. Some new stuff i didn´t knew though
- Didn't we say we would look forward and forget the dragons?
- But hey. I was just going to read when you were in the water. Now that you're up again, of course we can hang out.
Hasse puts the report in the bag and starts cuddling Madelene, but she pulls back a little.
- It was bad style of you to take it on our honeymoon, but what's done is done.
- I was only going to read it when you were bathing or we weren't doing anything together.
- But we both bathe.
- Nah. Technically not. You were on land when I was in the water and now I was on land when you were in the water.
- Okay okay. You are right. But I think you should throw the report away.
- Maybe I will when I have finished reading it. Well, do you want to swim with me now?
- I just got up, but we can go back in and fool around a bit, maybe.
Hasse and Madelene go down to the water and start splashing water on each other. Their hair gets completely wet but it doesn't matter. Hasse and Madelene choose to swim a bit and there is a small competition about who can swim the fastest. Hasse leads for a long time, but towards the end, Madelene gets a lot of speed and swims past him. Hasse becomes a little speechless when she swims around him like that. Hasse and Madelene get up from the water after almost an hour of playing and frolicking and more people have started to come to the beach.
Hasse and Madelene sit down in the sun lounges and they talk to each other. A very pregnant woman sits in a sun lounger relatively close to where Madelene is sitting and Madelene can't help but look at the big belly. She immediately wants to have children. Madelene looks happily at Hasse.
- Do you know what I want?
- A lot of money perhaps? I have no idea.
- I want to have a child and have a belly as big as the woman over there.
Madelene discreetly points at the woman so that Hasse can see her.
- Okay, but it's going to be hard to be so fat and also to be nauseous sometimes.
- It's worth it. Wouldn't you like to have a child?
- Eh, I can't give birth, so how would that happen?
- But if I get pregnant and give birth, it will also be your child.
- Yes Yes. I didn't understand what you meant at first. Well, it might have been fun with a child.
- Later tonight, maybe we can have a little cozy in bed in the hotel room?
- We can absolutely have that if you want.
Madelene looks very happy and so does Hasse. They sit for a while in the sunshine, but then Hasse's stomach starts to rumble. Madelene giggles at the sound and soon her stomach rumbles too.
- Are you as hungry as I am?
- I'm also getting hungry, yes.
- Maybe it's time to eat a little then?
- It absolutely can be.
Hasse and Madelene start to dry off and put on the clothes that are above the bathing suits and then they leave the beach and go back to the hotel. When they arrive, they see that dinner is being served in the restaurant and they go in and show their hotel cards.
Hasse and Madelene then start to take of the food available. It's a buffet and there's lots of different food and Hasse and Madelene fill their plates and get drinks and sit down at a table and start eating. The food is very good and when the plates are empty, Hasse and Madelene bring more food. When they are full, they put the plates in the designated place and leave the restaurant.
After they have eaten, Madelene wants to go for a walk around town and Hasse follows. Madelene soon finds a very large clothing store and goes inside to look. Hasse is not as interested in clothes but looks at the clothes that Madelene finds and says what he thinks about them. Madelene buys some of the clothes and they go back to the hotel.
There is some musical entertainment in a large hall belonging to the hotel and Hasse and Madelene stand and listen to the music for a while before they go up to their hotel room. Both Hasse and Madelene undress and jointly shower off the salt water from the bath. When they have washed off, they start caressing each other in the shower.
When Hasse and Madelene have finished showering and dried themselves, they talk about whether it's not too early to have sex and they decide to have it a little later in the evening. It's early evening and they want to wait to have sex and they talk about what to do. They decide to go out again. Hasse has seen that there is a sightseeing boat that leaves near the hotel they are staying at and it might be nice to go on it.
Hasse and Madelene go down to the jetty where the boat departs and it will depart in ten minutes, so they buy a ticket and get on the boat. It is possible to sit indoors and outdoors in the boat and they choose to sit outdoors. Ten minutes later the boat departs and there are quite a lot of people traveling on it. The water is still and the boat hardly rocks at all. A guide starts to show and tell about the places the boat passes.
The guide shows where the volcano that erupted a few years ago is and where the lava flowed. Hasse had almost forgotten that there was a volcanic eruption on the island a few years ago. The guide also tells about the city's history and about a giant limestone cave. Both Hasse and Madelene become curious about the cave and they decide to visit it during the week or next week. They don't want to plan too much now that they are on vacation. Hasse can't help but joke about the cave and possible dragons and Madelene finds the joke somehow funny even though she doesn't want to be reminded of the dragons.
The boat ride takes just over an hour and when it comes back to the jetty, Hasse and Madelene decide to go for a walk around town again. Hasse sees a department store that is five floors high and he and Madelene enter the department store and look at an overview map of the different floors. Here is just about everything that can be bought. On one floor you can even buy animals according to the overview map.
Hasse and Madelene go up to the top floor and here there are only loads of restaurants. Neither Hasse nor Madelene are hungry for any food, but now they know they can eat here too if they want. The next floor is mostly animals and things for gardens. Hasse and Madelene go straight down to the next floor. There is mostly furniture and interior design and it is more interesting for them even if they don't buy anything here. The things have to fit on the plane when they go home.
The second floor has lots of clothes and Madelene looks at them for a while but doesn't buy anything. The bottom floor has food but also media and other things. Hasse buys a brand new CD with Enrique Iglesias. Some of the songs on the album have already started to be played extensively in Gothenburg as well and Hasse likes the music.
Hasse and Madelene go out of the department store and they decide to visit a bar and they come to a bar that seems very nice and they each sit on a chair. There are not many people in the bar at the moment and there is plenty of room to sit.
Hasse and Madelene each order an umbrella drink which they start drinking from and they are very good. Hasse's drink contains a lot of oranges, while Madelene's drink contains lime and elderberries. Both drinks contain alcohol but not much.
There is a karaoke machine a little further into the bar and Madelene sits and looks at it and gets the urge to sing but the question is if Hasse wants to sing with her. Madelene looks at Hasse and he looks back.
- Have you seen that there is a karaoke machine over there?
- Is there? Oh okay. Nice.
Hasse turns and looks at the machine. Madelene smiles at Hasse.
- Do you want to sing a song with me?
- I don't have a very good singing voice, so it probably won't sound that good.
- I don't have a good singing voice either, but that doesn't matter.
- What song shall we sing then?
- We have to check which ones are available.
Madelene walks over to the machine and sees what songs there are. Most of the songs are foreign, but there are some Swedish ones as well. In the end, Madelene finds a song that she wants her and Hasse to sing and it is Ulf Lundell's "Kärleken förde oss samman". The song is often used when people get married and fits perfectly in the context.
Madelene shows Hasse which song she has chosen and he also thinks it is a good song choice. The person working in the bar starts the song and Hasse and Madelene each take out a microphone and start singing.
Solen står högt över fälten
Vinden går lojt genom säden
Värmen vilar och väntar
Det susar oss över i träden
Idag är det bara du och jag
Idag är det bara vi två
Du är min
Och jag är din
Och kärleken förde oss samman
Hasse and Madelene sing really well, even if not many people hear them. Both Hasse and Madelene think they should have told them that they are getting married tomorrow before they started singing, but they can tell after the song.
If Hasse had been asked just a few months earlier if he wanted to sing karaoke, he would have definitely said no. But things have happened since then. He has taken care of baby dragons but also helped kill the dragons he saw hatch at his home. But he has also met Madelene and even if they don't think the same about all things, they fit very well together. It has meant that Hasse has grown enormously as a person and he is no longer who he was before. Hasse feels no shame if anyone hears or sees him even if he doesn't sing every note perfectly and Madelene feels the same way.
When the song is over, the owner and the few guests who are in the bar clap their hands and they seem impressed by the singing effort. Madelene takes the opportunity to tell them that they are getting married tomorrow and whoever owns the bar gets Hasse and Madelene a free shot of whiskey each. Both Hasse and Madelene think it has a bit of a strong taste, but they drink it anyway. Hasse and Madelene sit down at their chairs and continue to drink their umbrella drinks.
After an hour or so, the bar starts to fill up with more people and the mood rises. Hasse and Madelene have finished their umbrella drinks but they are still sitting there watching the people who are starting to fill the bar. Many appear to be tourists but there are probably some who live here as well who visit the bar. Nobody wants to sing on the karaoke machine, but some of Enrique Iglesia's new songs are played and several of the guests sing along to the songs.
Hasse and Madelene decide to leave the bar and go back to the hotel. When they get to their room, they immediately start cuddling with each other again and now it is more suitable to have intercourse. It doesn't take long until the clothes are off and they have good action in bed.
When Hasse and Madelene have had sex, they lie in bed for a while and just talk to each other. Madelene starts to feel tired after a while and wants to sleep, while Hasse wants to listen to music that he has saved on his mobile phone before falling asleep. Hasse starts the media player on the mobile but no music starts playing but one of the video clips where the dragon queen gives birth to a baby dragon. Hasse watches the video, amused but a little disgusted, but then chooses to start the music. It doesn't take long before Hasse falls asleep to the calm music he has chosen.
Six months later
The intercourse that Hasse and Madelene had in Mallorca has borne fruit and Madelene is now the owner of a very large pregnant belly. She actually looks even more pregnant than the woman they saw on the beach in Mallorca and Hasse feels that something is wrong but he can't explain what is wrong. It's just a feeling he has and it's gotten bigger as he's watched Madeleine's belly grow and grow.
Madelene has of course been to the maternity center and everything has looked fine. Unfortunately, the last three visits have been canceled due to various reasons and this has bothered Hasse a lot because he feels that something is wrong. Madelene, on the other hand, takes everything in stride and is not worried at all. Right now she is cleaning the living room. Hasse is in the kitchen cleaning there.
Madelene stops in her cleaning and looks at the painting with the mane that Hasse cut off from the male dragon. The mane is actually nice, although Madelene thinks it was wrong of Hasse to bring it home to their home. Well, it can hang where it hangs for so long.
Madelene continues to clean but suddenly she suffers a big spasm and she moans loudly. She has never had such a strong cramp before and she soon breaks out in a cold sweat. Madelene feels something slimy and wet flow out with great force from her abdomen and the spasm subsides a little. That couldn't have been urine but something else, she thinks confusedly, and she thinks about whether she should tell Hasse about what happened.
It feels very strange in the abdomen. It feels as if the cervix is starting to open, but in that case it happens far too early. Madelene is worried for the first time and she calls out to Hasse.
- Er, honey. can you come here
- Of course.
Hasse enters the living room and he sees the wet puddle on the floor and also Madelene's wet pants. The puddle on the floor has a funny color and looks light brown. It doesn't smell like faeces and Hasse wonders what it is. It reminds him of something but he can't think of what. Hasse scratches his hair and walks up to Madelene.
- Hmm. There was a bit of an accident, I see.
- No, it's something else. I think my cervix is dilating. It feels very strange down there.
- But you're only six months pregnant. That can't be right.
Madelene is about to answer when she gets an even bigger cramp and it feels like something is starting to be pushed out down there. Madelene panics and starts screaming and Hasse comes forward and holds her.
- We will solve this together. Where does it hurt?
- Down there. The baby wants out and I can't stop it. Call the ambulance or someone who can help.
- Hmm. I'm thinking about.. It might be good if you lay down on the floor. Can you handle it?
- Of course I do, but also call the ambulance.
- Yes of course.
Hasse calls an ambulance and explains what is happening and when they find out that Madelene is in her sixth month, they get a little serious but talk to Hasse in a lighthearted way. They promise to send an ambulance as soon as possible. Madelene begins to moan loudly again and she takes Hasse's hand in one hand.
- I have to writhe. Ask if I can writhe.
The person Hasse is talking to says that Madelene can writhe if she needs to, but that Hasse should check what's going on and not leave her alone.
- Yes, you can writhe if you need it. I'm here by your side all the time.
Hasse pulls off Madelene's pants and panties and he can see a small bubble sticking out of Madelene's bottom. It looks like an amniotic sac and Hasse gets confused. Children aren't born that way, are they? The cervix actually looks quite open.
Madelene takes several deep breaths and then she begins to squirm. The bubble becomes like a balloon as it fills with light brown liquid and floating membranes and tissues. Hasse really doesn't think this looks right but pretends everything is fine so as not to worry Madelene
- You're good at this, honey.
- I don't feel good. It hurts so damn much.
- Childbirth usually hurts. That's what they said at the maternity center.
Madelene starts to writhe again and the bubble fills with more fluid but so far no baby is visible in it. It starts to bleed profusely from both sides of Madelene's bottom and she starts to whine and she holds Hasse's hand so tightly that it hurts. Madelene takes a short break and she has lots of tears in her eyes from the effort.
- Do you see anything down there yet? It feels like the baby has come out a bit.
- So far I can't see any baby unfortunately.
Hasse still has the phone on and has put the speaker on so she can hear what is being said to Hasse. They ask how Madelene is and she answers herself.
- I feel fine even though it feels like I have a big log in my ass and it hurts like hell with every contraction.
Madelene starts to writhe again and this time something starts to fill the amniotic sac but it's definitely not a baby but something else. Hasse has difficulty seeing exactly what it is, but when the amniotic sac starts to move further forward, he sees what it is. There is a baby dragon in the amniotic sac.
Hasse stubbornly shakes his head. This doesn't seem right. Madelene is human and will give birth to a baby and not a baby dragon. He must simply see wrong.
The baby dragon in the amniotic sac starts to move and Madelene immediately starts screaming louder than Hasse has ever heard her scream. Blood spurts from the sides of the butt every time the baby dragon moves.
Hasse prays silently to himself.
Please stop moving
Madelene meanwhile is writhing non-stop and Hasse has to tell her to breathe too. Meanwhile, the baby dragon is pushed further and further forward and Hasse sees when its claws make holes in the amniotic sac and it can breathe. Madelene continues to writhe but suddenly a loud splash is heard and she becomes completely lifeless in a few seconds and the hand that has been holding Hasse's hand becomes powerless. The baby dragon has made a big hole in Madelene's belly and now all the blood and mucus is pouring out like a big red river. Hasse begins to scream out of sadness when he realizes that Madelene has died. Hasse continues to scream out his grief.
- Hasse Hasse wake up. Why are you screaming?
Present day Mallora
Hasse opens his eyes and sees Madelene leaning over him. They are at the hotel in Mallorca and Hasse realizes that he had a nightmare and feels a bit stupid. But at the same time, he can't shake off that unpleasant feeling he got when he saw Madelene in the dream give birth to a baby dragon and die. Hasse gets up in a sitting position in bed and yawns widely. Madelene is still looking at him questioningly.
- Erm. I just had a nightmare.
- You sounded rather panicked, so I don't know if you can call it just.
Hasse shakes his head slightly and gets out of bed. Hasse goes out onto the large balcony and takes several deep breaths. He has to think a bit before he can go back and explain to Madelene what happened in the dream. The eerie thing is that he can still smell both the sweet smell of the birth of the baby dragon and the metallic smell of the blood that spilled onto the floor.
Hasse thinks that the dream must be a combination of many different things. Among other things alcohol but also the fact that he watched one of the videos where the dragon queen gave birth before falling asleep. But the thoughts surrounding those young dragon cubs in the park by Avenyn have also had an impact. Hasse thinks about whether he should tell Madelene about the baby dragons in the park. Maybe she can understand the dream better then.
Hasse goes back to the bedroom when he has calmed down. Madelene is sitting on the edge of the bed checking her mobile when Hasse comes back, but she immediately looks up when she hears that he is walking. Hasse sits on the edge of the bed next to Madelene and begins to explain what happened in the dream.
- I dreamed that you were pregnant and gave birth prematurely, but it was not a baby but a baby dragon that you gave birth to and it killed you when it was born.
- It sounds like a bad dream but why would I give birth to a baby dragon? It doesn't work.
- In the world of dreams, everything is possible. However, I think I have been influenced by various individual things and the dream brought them together in a strange way.
- You read the report when we were at the beach earlier in the day.
- Yes, there was one thing there that influenced me, but it wasn't just that. I started the media player after we had sex and you wanted to sleep. I was going to listen to some songs but instead I watched one of the videos of the dragon queen giving birth.
- Do you still have those videos on your mobile phone? What did you read that influenced you?
- I still have all three videos on my mobile. What I read was that there were several almost newborn baby dragons in the park by the Avenue and they do not come from any of the dragon queens. No one knows whose dragon parents are.
- How does the defense know that they are not hatched or born by the dragon queens?
- The blood test shows that they do not belong to them. I think I was also influenced when I saw the extremely fat woman down by the beach.
- Heh yes. She was very fat yes. Okay, those things may have affected you but now you're okay right?
- Yes Yes. I'm perfectly fine.
Hasse sits and thinks for a while and suddenly becomes serious. He cares very much for Madelene and he suspects that it has also affected his dream. Hasse ponders for a long time how to explain that to Madelene.
- Madelene, I don't know what I would do if I lost you. You mean so much to me. When I moved to the city after my villa burned down, I felt so lost, but when I met you for the first time, that feeling disappeared immediately.
- Oh honey. So nicely said.
- It's not just what I say, but I also mean it.
- Considering that we are getting married tomorrow, it is still a good omen, I think. But you, shouldn't you delete those videos from your mobile? I mean, it's nothing to save, right?
- I can do that later, but right now we both probably want to sleep so we're fresh for tomorrow.
- That sounds like a good idea. Good night then again and dream pleasant dreams this time.
- Let's hope I do.
Hasse and Madelene go to bed again and this time Hasse has no nightmares. Meanwhile, while they sleep, it becomes a new day.
At the same time, in an apartment in Gothenburg on Avenyn, Olle is sleeping. The baby dragons that were hatched the other day are now almost full grown and there are only three other dragons in his apartment because it gets way too crowded otherwise.
Olle has continued to kill people in the apartment building and has fed them to his dragon cubs. Now there are only two apartments on the first floor and two on the bottom floor where people still live. They don't know that the other tenants are dead and eaten. There are baby dragons living in every apartment except the two on the first floor and the last two on the bottom floor.
Olle no longer thinks like a human, but has let his dragon instincts take over completely. It makes him more dangerous to the people who still live in the apartment building, but he doesn't really know any of them. Olle's transformation from a human dragon with a sense of right and wrong to a dragon without inhibitions started when he killed Liselott and the landlord. Since then, he has not cared who he has killed.
In the meantime, while Olle sleeps, lots of baby dragons form in his stomach and they each get an amniotic sac around them. The very first baby dragons started to form earlier in the day but now at night they have started to form at record speed. Olle's stomach and abdomen are getting bigger and bigger and he moves while he sleeps so that it feels more comfortable in his stomach. Olle is completely unaware of what is happening in his body.
Lots of baby dragons begin to form in the stomachs of the other sleeping dragons. It is the same DNA that Robert and the task leader saw in the laboratory that has now been put into action. There are a total of 66 dragons that will give birth to live dragon babies tomorrow. Each dragon will give birth to between 35 to 40 baby dragons. But they don't know that and they sleep well while their bellies and abdomens gets bigger and bigger.

Wow! Great nightmare!.
Hasse and Madelene seems to be a very good pair even if i think that Madelene is a little too hard on Hasse sometimes. He might as well have a trauma when he saw the dragon male die and both saw the dragon queen giving live birth AND placing bombs in the cave, which killed her.
That Ulf Lundell track is great for weddings and such.
A little funny and oops moment when no one notices Olle in the picture. It might be the very small details that changes just EVERYTHING and the last text hints that he and the other dragons that hatched last time will give birth to baby dragons. I guess the house soon will get overcrowded with dragons.
