Thanks. I’ve been doodling nonlinear gibberish for the past three days.
The best way to describe where I’m at is this quote from the movie yes man.
“You’re dead Carl. You say no to life and therefore are not living. You make up excuses to the people around you and to yourself. You’re stuck in the same dead end job you have been for years. You don’t have a girlfriend, you don’t have anything close to a girlfriend, and you lost the love of your life because she couldn’t be with someone who didn’t live theirs.
And most nights you’re so bored you can’t even summon the enthusiasm to masturbate.”
Boy does that hit my feelers.

god ive been there and i keep being there
i feel comfy going wherever my brain takes me on research tangents and art browsing, but then i look back on the day i had and i feel like i just did nothing because i didn't draw or make anything or do much
i feel more inclined to work on silly doodles than the requests people ask me for, and even then i don't want to draw but can't think of anything else to work on that won't immediately fail
sometimes to get out of the rut i need to let it flow naturally by messing around with other stuff, or give myself a tiny scrap of a plan that can turn into something big if i let it
i felt stuck in my room and stuck in myself for months, before i started tinkering more with hobbies and low-maitenance projects
but there's not a quick one-size-fits-all solution and it's not the same feeling everyone has of course
