Pleasure. Love. Time. Pressure. Terror. Death.
Welcome citizen to life in Exel. Your every need has been calculated and provided for. Your every desire can be yours. Your pain will be valuable information. Thank you for your cooperation, and your sacrifice.
---
The citizens who live in Exel do not know about life outside the dome. They don't know the corporation that owns it, that owns them. They just know that usually their lives are perfect. But every once in a while something goes horribly wrong, and then it's a struggle for survival. This will be a Novel-in, the tale of a city, it's citizens and their struggles told in ten stories.

Might want to look at James Tullos' work on YouTube. He has several critiques of dystopian novels.
Haha, nice seeing the prologue! It reminds of me of vaults in Fallout. Very fun to think about.
And well, if the AI has objective of learning about the humans, it will try to do so like that. In this case it created a comfortable habitat for them, which doesn't have to be the case like when humans don't create this sort of very adjusted to animals habitat for their livestock and animals used for experimentation and so on.
It will be great to read other stories and see how people approach this! In this case he was very rebellious towards orders given by the AI. I wouldn't expect acting in interest of people like that from a politician. xD I wonder if some people were killed in the end, or the AI just ignored it because it was only interested in what he would do.

mAInd Corp. has gained what they perceive to be valuable data from the sacrifice of the citizen known as Darvish. It will be data that mAInd will attempt to use in the future.
Finally got around to reading this thru.
This is an excellent kick of and introduction to the world of Exel. It is intriguing because it asks more questions than it answers, and that is the best kind of hook because it leaves you wanting more. :)
