Why spend money on expensive restoration scrolls when you can simply turn the fighter into a mindless, obedient golem? Free damage resistance, extra strength, and it's not like he ever used his intelligence much anyway

Oh, this is a VERY interesting concept. I might take it into a story.
yeah a friend of mine decided to try and DM a TF campaign, he's on FA too Gp990066pG , he even wrote a TF story based on the campaing he's in currently which I'm DMing
Well we didn't start with TF. we just were doing a normal DnD campaign with the occasional TF but not kinky like. Then my player, Gp990066pG , wanted to try his hand at DMing and for fun wanted to have a campaign focused on TFing, it's more a test then an campaign propper but so far one of the players got attacked by an animated armor and their arms are becoming more, armor shaped, that's all I will say :)
(also my friend wrote a TF story based on one of his characters in my campaign, do read it ^^)

Well, i dont even wanna think about the repercussions of when they DO use greater restoration. ^u^;
Moving the stat points around as well...
Hmmm, would a metal statue result in an iron golem or an animated armor... maybe the latter if the wizard doesn't want to bother with the extra energy/steps...

A golem transformation? Now that is something awesome you rarely see. :)
Gonna have to keep this one on standby for some of my less ethically-constrained characters. (Arboreal Curse and Awaken probably works the same way -- turn someone into a tree, let it turn permanent over the span of a year, then turn the tree into a semi-sentient sentry.)
Another idea related to this one: what about using Stone Shape before casting Greater Restoration or an animation spell? So long as the petrified target doesn't get broken in a way that'd kill them if they were flesh and blood, I don't think there's anything that precludes modifying their stone shape first, as long as they're Medium or smaller.
Genuinely saving this idea for future campaigns I run, and great work on the comic! Love the designs~
How hung is the golem, and can he still perform?
What? Y'all were thinking it, too!

I like the way the chars are drawn here, did you do something different?
I'm sure he'd be fuming if his brain wasn't rock solid. Big improvement indeed.
Definitely a good DnD DLC xd
When will the expansion be released?
Ok no hahaha

Man, this is such a neat concept. It almost makes me wish I was into petrification.
