Granted, it isn't my best, but I prefer this over what I originally was working on a few days ago. My second entry to TP.
Enjoy.

Second entry and second to none. Great job! I love the characters and the meaning behind it all! Great use of prompt, loved every second!
Thanks much, tis my first try at allegory.
Thank you so much; I don't think I'm creative often.
You can tell that muse of yours was working hard. A most impressive glimpse into this new world you are building. Looking forward to more.
My muse? No, rather a character's muse, whose story is yet conjured, I am only her scribe ;)
In all seriousness, thanks for the feedback and thanks for joining our vagabond as we tell the tales of Grosshiem.

Nice tale, of fundemental archtypes navigating their way through a truly insane story landscape.
very nice it was... entertaining as well...
oh hell... broke a nail...
chew chew chew and spit...
*giggles... it was fun...

Um, thank you.
(Been trying to make sense of the second part of this sentence; did give me a laugh though)

Don't worry, my brother and I have similar if not weirder humor.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
It was very much in the spirit of the old allegorical stories from England. (The Faerie Queen, Pilgrim's Progress, etc.) Good work!
Oh man, it has been a while since I've read Pilgrim's Progress.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Quite a fun little fable you conjured here. Too often are sanity and intellect destined to remain apart.
I liked a lot of the bits of wordplay. Sometimes I felt the rhyme and meter got a little lost, but that's a difficult skill (which is why I don't usually employ it in my own work). Kudos for taking on the challenge.

Hence why its a folktale. Thank you.
Been reading Shakespeare lately; just finished Henry V. I believe his writing techniques have invaded my way of writing fantasy. Also, whenever I couldn't find a suitable word to rhyme with another, I did second best.

That's something truly unique, Filmer! (hope you're okay with me calling you so^^) Really enjoyed it and especially this lovely short poetry at the end^•^
I prefer being refered to as Nex, but I don't mind nor blame anyone who calls me otherwise (Curse upon me younger self). Why thank you; as for the ending, Muses tend to recite stories as such, all the stories based in the world of Grosshiem are recited by a muse, so I'm usually gonna open and close with such a way of writing. Glad you liked it nonetheless.
Okay! Just tried to find on your profile description, but didn't find. So be it Nex^•^
Alright! That's an interesting detail in your stories to come

Ah, that is an issue I do have to work on eventually.
Indeed.

Nice story! I am a fan of Insanity myself, because I think that it's least illusory, most authentic and real. It just is without attempting to maintain it. I think that everything is based on desire for pleasure anyway, and insanity just acknowledges that, while other states mentioned here call it in other ways, covering it in layers that make it seem to be something else.
How fun that you began writing thursday prompt stories! Good luck with writing! And thank you very much for your attention on my stories too. ^^

Thank you. Careful, insanity can drive one to murder.
"I think that everything is based on desire for pleasure anyway," Uh huh, many philosopher's would argue otherwise, but one that does a great job of doing so is Aristotle. Rather I believe that in the end, everything that is done is done in order to find meaning/God; for we seek to do good and all actions (Be they right or wrong) are all done with the intent of doing good. If I were to continue this comment, however, it'd be WAY too long, so I'll just leave it here.
