General info
Most Servalians live within the continent of Magtera, many living within the Ledonian, Parthan and Crocarthan empire as lot of their lands were conquered by these nations. Only a minority of Servalians still live within large mixed-race chiefdoms with the Caracalians. Another minority of Servalians live within Ecora in the New kingdom as slaves or freeborn.
Society and ruling system
Within the Crocarthan empire in the province of Amednah the Servalians retain some autonomy as well as power over their lands whereas in other places or in Parthan and Ledonian empire they are assimilated within the respective ruling culture. Similarly, to Caracalians, a minority of Servalians whose lands are not yet conquered by other races live within chiefdoms. The Servalian chiefdoms are very similar to Caracalian ones, being led by a chief or a chiefess with the position being usually inherited and thus the spouse/s of the chief has less power to make decisions. The remaining predominantly Servalian chiefdoms are collectively referred to as Masikiwo. Masikiwo have lived for centuries, mostly peacefully, alongside their greatest allies the predominantly Caracalian chiefdoms and fought their common enemies together. The Masikiwo chiefdoms, similarly to their mostly Caracalian counterparts (the Unuweila), have been led by only Servalian chiefs/chiefesses for generations. The long alliance between Masikiwo and Unuweila eventually led to these chiefdoms having mixed populations of the respective races. The ruling system of Masikiwo and Unuweila chiefdoms are very similar, which is partially the reason they have been getting along so well, but their long-standing cooperation and alliance has also shaped their respective cultures to become more similar. However, there are some notable differences between the Masikiwo and Unuweila chiefdoms aside who is allowed to lead them. For instance, Masikiwo chiefdoms generally have what is referred to as the council of elders, a group within which only high-status elders of the community get to enter, such as retired high rank warriors and older relatives of the Chief. The council of elders can consist of both Servalians and Caracalians but at any given time Caracalians can only have at most as many numbers of members as there are Servalian members, hybrid members not counting towards either category. The council of elders works as advisors of the Chief. The Chief couple must always maintain good relations with the council of elders to have more power within the chiefdom, additionally this council is there to advise the chief, particularly if they inherit their position when still young. The council of elders is also there to approve of the choice of a spouse/s of the Chief and vote for a new successor for the Chief if they have no eligible children, hybrids not being able to take the position. Within Unuweila tribes a similar council exists, but any individual can and will become part of the council once they reach a specific age, with only the Caracalians and hybrid members being able to vote for a successor for the Chief.
Families in Servalian society
Within Masikiwo chiefdoms the family dynamics and who Servalians can choose as their spouse works similarly to that in Unuweila tribes. However, there are some differences in the family dynamics of families living within the Masikiwo tribes versus the ones living within Unuweila tribes. For example, most Servalians of Masikiwo tribes traditionally have significantly more pressure from their families to have children.
Religion
Similarly to Caracalians, most Servalians have adopted the beliefs of their respective ruling culture, with some of their original traditions and beliefs being incorporated into the religion of the ruling culture while others being practiced in secret. These secret religious practices are often performed right alongside Caracalians. The original religious beliefs of Caracalians that are practiced within Masikiwo chiefdoms are very similar to those within Unuweila chiefdoms. However, the Masikiwo refer to their main god as the Sun spirit who is thought to be just another form of the “Sun bird”, god who is worshipped within the Unuweila chiefdoms. Also the Masikiwo believe in the 7 children of the Sun spirit, with the Servalian child being referred to as Embala and worshipped commonly within each household to gain protection and prosperity for the household. Within Unuweila a shrine for the Sun bird is way more common within individual households as they are thought to hold more power.
Warfare
Similarly to Caracalians, the Servalians living within the Ledonian, Parthan and Crocarthan empire can generally enlist in the army if they are freeborn citizens. In the Masikiwo chiefdoms each male member of the chiefdom is required to have military training and they use mainly iron within their armors and weaponry similarly to Unuweila chiefdoms.
What are they famous for
Servalians are known for their discovery of “Nepeta”, an herbal product made of the dried leaves of a specific plant that can be used and consumed in multiple ways. Nepeta has relaxing as well as psychoactive effects on the feline races of Magtera and Ecora. Servalians (and Caracalians) are known for trading different Nepeta products and their use has widely spread within Magtera among the feline races, although within Crocarthan provinces Amednah and Adombar the trade and use of Nepeta has been restricted as it is believed to make its user lazy and addicted thus causing some individuals fall out of society. The trade of Nepeta as well as the plant itself has also spread to Ecora and even to more distant lands with feline cultures.

I love the lore that you've built all of your races upon. Marvelous work.
Thank you so much! That really means a lot, both that you like the lore and take time to read it ^^
Thank youu! ^^ Making lore for my setting is a lot of fun for me!
Soggas are glorious with their giant ears :P
I like the lady's earring-necklace hybrid there.
Actually, there's a human society that has that type of earring. I can't remember which one it is but I do know about it. For example, that earring is worn only in one ear or the other (I can't remember which one it is.).
Thanks! :D I think I have seen that in few occasions in art and had to add it also for my Servalians!
Between the Lycanines, Cracalians, and these, they'll never need to invent satellite dishes - and they'll also be the first to make contact with the aliens.
Haha indeed! Who needs satellite dishes when you have all-sensing-ears! :P
ahh your cats are always so fun! I really love the lore here!
I'm low-key addicted to race references and lore dumps, so I'm not about to complain!😊😋 All the little mannerisms and things like "ear gestures" are what make a fantasy race/culture really come alive! I can't help wondering, though; are there any subtle snubs, ear gestures that are the rough equivalent to "flipping someone the bird"(i.e.,"🖕🏻") that only the race/culture that uses it understands? Say, a long-suffering Caracalian shop keeper dealing with a group of obnoxious young Lionine Nobles, having to maintain an air of upmost civility and subservient behavior on the surface... But, secretly laughing up his sleeve because the whole time he's bowing and scraping to the "Karens", he's also flicking his ears in such a way that they have no idea means, basically, "Go blow a goat!"🤣😈
Haha! I am very happy to hear that! Cos I love making these race references with all their lore! :P
The ear gestures were a must for the big eared races! Especially after seeing so many videos of especially our world caracals flicking their ears!
I am thinking there has to be also offensive ear gestures! but it would have to be something that is easy to recognize and not something that can be done too easily accidentally (otherwise you could accidentally offend others too easily XD). Maybe grabbing your ear and bending it backwards inverting briefly at a person? XD But this is something I'd have to think!
