Well-established moods and conveyance of motion and emotion with poses in both scenes,
and a good contrast between the two! As always, very cinematic!
Compliments on the fine detail of clothing, and especially the instruments!
Todd doggedly stands his ground against the harsh tempest of rowdy implications.

Thanks for the kind words again! I am wearing my references on my sleeve, and I often thumbnail these pages as if I was storyboarding an animation 😅
Todd is definitely a version of me from when I was that age, socially awkward and maybe a little sheltered 😂

I could easily see this an animated series, an Adult Swim/Netflix breakout title,
or better yet – an indie project like Matthew Gafford's A Fox in Space
or No Evil by Betsy Lee.
But it's good as it gets in its current format!
Todd does seem to be a little wet behind the ears,
although definitely a talented and resourceful young person.

I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t want to see Revenants turned into an adult focused animated series! But given the duration, I think indie production may be a little out of reach and budget and I wouldn’t trust a studio or distributor to give it more than one season in that volatile industry. So comic form and dreams will have to tide me over 😂
And yup, tell me about writing what you know when it comes to Todd 😂

Lengthy animation projects are luxury class pursuits nowadays, sadly.
Still, I'm wishing you to get an opportunity to apply yourself
as an animator sometime down the line!
It's taxing, but cool to assemble a team
for that kind of creative shenanigans,
meeting new folks, having fun
in theone of the member's basement studio, getting in touch with other creators...
It's good when the author acknowledges the protagonist
as a bit of their own mirror early, so the usual unfortunate
side effects of that connection can be contained.

Oh yeah definitely, it's very impressive that Hasbin/Helluva Boss and Lackadaisy have taken off like they have. Endlessly amazed that they pulled those off.
It would be rad to give it a go, for sure. I have got some small animation projects in mind around the comic, but mostly as a promotional thing. Not chance of voiced scenes in the near future 😅
And at this point, enough close friends are either good animators themselves, or know a few, so who knows, maybe one day we kickstart a pilot to see how it fares?

Fingers crossed and hope's a-burnin'!
I am largely unfamiliar with the Hasbin Hotel/Helluva Boss ascension story,
but I'd followed Lackadaisy for years and years prior to its exploding on the animation scene,
and it had seemed that it would always be confined to its venerable deviantArt niche.
Good things happen, amazingly.

Oh yeah, very exciting that projects of that scale can get enough interest and capital to start up in an indie capacity! The medium is more accessible than ever.
