If you've ever wanted to share
time with a Capybara, do dare.
I'm sure afterward you'll swear
Capybara's are quite rare.
The Capybara like hot steam.
They're not at all angry or mean.
It's true as most wild beasts fare
a Capybara is rare to glare.
Munch on grass they often do.
They like lots of fresh veggies, too.
If a vegetarian meal you'd share
Capybara's will be right there.
Swimming is what Capy's most love.
It's a fact they often prove.
Capy cuteness is beyond fair.
Their adorable level's are out there.
Their big front teeth they constantly hone.
Though they aren't that biting-prone.
Much like the Rabbit and Hare
their chompers need lots of daily wear.
Big plushie's they resemble mostly.
I'm grateful nature assembled this cutie.
A creature with style and much flair.
Big, fat rodents with Guinea Pig hair.

I just think they're really neat.

Lucky! I really wish I could go to the zoo. I miss visiting one. I grew up in Rhode Island and our local zoo, the Roger Williams Zoo, was maybe fifteen minutes drive from my house. My grade school had field trips there all the time. They really got their moneys worth out of that educational pricing lol.
