Fighter's Instict - Rat (Portait)
Perhaps the only thing in life tougher than being born into this world as a rat is to stand across from one in the ring. On the city streets, in a world all too willing to turn a blind eye to those deemed undesirable, most young bucks find themselves with two options: fight, or die. There is no running, or hiding, from the reality in which these fighters were nurtured, and after growing up in a life where no quarter is given or sought, Rat fighters bring with them a die-hard, survivalist spirit that even the heaviest hitters struggle to extinguish.
A jack of all trades and master of none, a Rat performs fair, if perhaps not dazzlingly in most areas of fighting, with decent handspeed, power, and endurance. While adequate if unremarkable by most measurable metrics, Rats are known for one thing: a fierce, even rabid refusal to back down in the face of adversity. While the traditional wisdom is to shell up and get on your bicycle when in trouble, rats instead respond to pressure by giving it back tenfold, tossing caution to the wind and foregoing any concern over their own well being to respond with frenzied fury to any opponent who tries to do to them what society, up to now, has tried and failed to accomplish. If going for the knockout against a rat, you'd better be ready to finish what you start, because in Rat culture, you don’t always have to come home a winner, but if you quit for anything too far south of death itself, then you’d better not come home at all.
