I'm such a sucker for all Arabic vibe... I dunno, I just absolutely love this atmosphere of mystery that came from greatest civilizations of early medieval.
And it's a fennec^•^ One of cutest animals of deserts, hehe.

Hehe, thank you!! Yes, I think I will never start coloring my works because I absolutely love how this black and white looks^•^

Wonderful design and a beautifully chosen backdrop. Immediately thought of Aladdin, because this is just (Genie)us!!! Great style and great detail Puaro! Mastering this craft everytime you post!

Indeed!! And it's supposed to remind Aladdin because my poem is gonna be a parody of its Arabian night, but darker one hehe xP
And you never fail to make me smile with your comments, Jon!!

The colour of her eyes in an otherwise black and white piece is a really nice touch!
His* hehe. Yeah, I guessed these eyeliners may confuse a little bit hah xD But thank you millions times and more!!! Glad to know you like these not coloring^^
Oh dear, sorry Mr Fox! And y/w, super-impressive that these are done with a mouse!
Ahhhh this is so cute! Really nicely drawn! So, you've gotten a tablet or something? Or are you still using mouse? Either way this is really good.
Hahaha, nope, I don't have money for that, so I'm still using my mouse. Thank you so much though!!^•^
Hehe, it's already becoming a tradition xP Thanks more and more coming to you!!
You have a very detailed style, with good use of small shades, and I'd say your drawings look very well with being just white-black, with rings of iris as the sole colourful parts.
It's just a bit like polyphonic singing for me: just as polyphonic singing does not require any additional melody or instruments, these drawings do not need colours to be ended and conspicious : )
PS. Indeed, Arabs created a great civilization with vast sphere of influence from North Africa, through Balcans, all the way to Indonesia. After all, if it were not for them, a large portion of ancient meditarranean knowledge would be squandered!

Awww, thank you so much, Onnoem!! That's really sweet to hear, especially last line hehe. (Though I still seek for an artist to make a colored ref of my raccoon haha. I just want to have it, but really terrible with coloring xP)
Yes! And as simplest example - almost all ancient European civilizations works in the Europe were just translations of Arabic translations of original ancient works.

I understand with the colouring, heh. I have problems with it too, whenever I try to colour something it takes me centuries and than I'm still rather dissatisfied with the results. Still, I think that this black-white style works good for your drawings.
Yeah. Maybe medieval Europe didn't disconect itself completely from antiquity, but christian scholars were rather very picky in what they have adopted from ancient times into their official reasoning. If it weren't from Arabs, a lot of other things would be lost...
I think it's still easily forgotten how "east" and "west" were constantly influencing each other since time immemorial. A lot of eastern ideas, like phrygian mode or Phoenician alphabet, went to ancient Greece, then neoplatonists influenced Islamic philosophy a lot, Islamic architecture in return influenced gothic buildings of Europe etc. I've even heard from someone that some of the chants of Gregorian canon were actually inspired by Islamic prayers, but I'd have to research it better.
