What the title says, also known as a Sogalun speaking Éla, written in latin letters of course. Been thinking about both sogaluns and iron metallurgy recently so made this little doodle!

Like that sort of monitor lizard tongue Sogalun’s got going. Is that sort of the idea here? Lemme give the air a lil taste?
Yeah its a means of smelling for them, something lost in their later ancestors (drekir, ormer, etc.) but nonetheless
Whoof!
I've been keeping up with Primitive Technology on YouTube, and their adventures in making iron, and the amount of effort he has to go through to not just make the knife, but the entire process, is astounding! I've also seen videos of Japanese metallurgists making Tamahangane, and also foreign tourists making Tamahagane, and it's an incredible amount of work.
So this Éld is quite well off indeed, to have such a valuable tool.

Yeah as awesome as iron is, there is a reason drekir aren't making iron in the dragonscape... tempted to change aspects of the lore but that doesn't change the fact that iron is hard as shit to make
It's a nigh-incomprehensible mystery to me,
but I appreciate this creature's affinity for fish
and the happy possession of the rare and precious ferric knife!
