It was a sunny afternoon for the shadow siren Vivian. She ventured through the pipes and arrived in the town of Rogueport. The usual run down and crime ridden town had been a little cleaned up as of lately, Not one but two famous actresses were visiting today. So the local gangs have been putting a little pressure on the locals to clean up their acts, if only for today.
Vivian was excited as she glided off of the pipe. One of these actresses was Madame Flurrie, a dear friend of hers. It had been some time since she had seen her so it would be great to catch up for once. The Shadow Siren was wearing a mere scarf and her iconic red and white hat for the moment, knitted by the locals of where she took up residence. She hurried along, passing by a few goombas as she headed for the main square. She was trying to keep as little attention as possible on her. It was better that way.
As Vivian shuffled along excitedly. She turned a corner to take a shortcut through an alleyway but stopped suddenly when a noise above her caught her attention. Coming to a stop, the Shadow Siren looked up to see quite an odd sight. While residents being on the roofs in Rogueport wasn’t uncommon. This one puzzled Vivian. She watched a loose shingle fall down before looking up to see a human woman posing and holding a phone.
“Um…Miss?” Vivian asked. Looking up with a puzzled expression and a hand on her chin. Her yellow lips curled. The woman up top wasn’t very balanced, most likely due to her heels. Vivian did take notice of her hair, She had a very unique choice of blue on orange. She watched her fumble around a bit. Trying to take a picture of herself on the roof, with a view of the nearby ocean.
Seemingly ignoring her, the woman kept at her endeavor. Vivian merely watched with a mix of concern yet amusement. The Shadow Siren found herself keeping close just in case the woman fell. Her heart told her she couldn’t just let this woman hit the stone cold floor if she were to fall. She was thankful this was a quieter alleyway, as there did not seem to be any other people traveling down at the moment. So for the moment Vivian waited to see if the pin would drop.
It would take a few minutes for it to happen, but finally one of the woman’s heels would slip as she would stumble back and lose balance. Vivian would glide over with her arms outstretched, ready to catch her. Thankfully however, the woman was able to catch herself. Her purse, not so much. The woman cried out “My Bag!” as Vivian watched as the bag tumbled over the edge and into her arms.
Vivian was confused by just the bag falling as she looked down at it for a mere moment, while it appeared to be a standard brown purse by all accounts. One of the flaps had opened to show a large camera lens. Vivian tilted her head before it suddenly erupted in a bright camera flash that left the poor shadow siren stunned. The woman quickly poked out her head with a worried expression before being struck with relief. “Oh thank ya kindly miss.”
The Woman flipped over, hopping off the roof with surprising ease, landing on her feet and hurrying over. “I woulda been in for a world of hurt if…Miss?” She stopped, looking over at Vivian who was just kinda staring off at the moment. The woman walked up and waved her hand in front of Vivians face, which did catch her attention. The Shadow Siren slowly turned towards her with a very vacant look on her face, even without her eyes being visible. The woman was confused before she looked down at her bag in Vivians arms and saw the lens free before it all came together. “Ahhhh, That’s what happen’d here.”
Vivian stood there, vacant. She wasn’t mindless, but the flash had felt her in what felt like a trance. Her thoughts were slow, as if they were moving through molasses. She could still process the woman in front of her. She was much taller than the Shadow Siren, Her hair very beautiful up close. Her choice of outfit was….very shiny. Which was the only thought Vivian could put together on it. In reality it was a combo of a latex tube top and tight latex skirt, which hugged her body immaculately. She was also wearing a leather coat on top of it.
The woman reached over to take the bag before an idea came over her. She looked over Vivian, she wasn’t familiar with exactly what she was. But she had to admit, this girl was cute. She looked past Vivian and then behind her to make sure no one was watching before smirking and placing an arm around Vivian. “Say that was mighty fine of ya Miss. Why don’t you come with me for a second. I wanna reward ya.”
Those words entered Vivian’s head. She was able to process them and agree. “That…..sounds lovely Miss…” She spoke out, slowly, sounding like her head was in the clouds. “Miss Riley, you can call me Miss Riley. What’s your name cutie.” She teased, Through her entranced state, Vivian found her lips curling into a smile as she gained a light blush. “I’m…..Vivian.”
Miss Riley chuckled and kept leading Vivian along. “C’mon then. I think you’re in for a treat.” She spoke with a chipper tone. The Two walked through the backside of Rogueport for a bit, thoughts about seeing her friend not even registering in Vivians mind. The walk was a blur as soon as Vivian knew it. She found herself walking into a small studio trailer, like one you would see in Poshley Heights. Miss Riley quickly pulled out a pair of keys and showed Vivian inside.
Riley’s grin kept as she looked over at the entranced Vivian, closing the door behind the two of them and locking it. She quickly pushed against her, whispering sensually. “That’s a good shadow creature. You’ve been such a good girl listenin to me without complainin or even a lil thought in your head.” She lightly massaged Vivians shoulders. She didn’t plan on giving anyone here a makeover. But she wasn’t one to neglect such an opportunity, especially since Vivian wasn’t really…..wearing anything.
“Y-Yes Miss Riley.” Vivian stuttered out, her blush growing as Riley lightly guided her to the back of the trailer. Separating from her real quick to head up to a big walk-in Wardrobe. How she got it in, Vivian was too entranced to ask. Riley was quick to resume her position. Slowly getting Vivian into the wardrobe as she began. “It's time for you to pick a new outfit, lil Vivian. One that would be perfect for your cute body. One you’ll absolutely love.”
“One I will….love?” Vivian asked through the trance. Riley’s voice was swirling in her mind. The Actresses voice slow and sensual purr causing the words to become all Vivian could think. “Yes. One similar to mine. You absolutely love how I look right?~ Of course you do.” Riley said as Vivian merely stared at the contents of the wardrobe. Latex outfits of many kinds and types, ones very similar to what Miss Riley was wearing. One’s vastly different in color and type of outfits. It was all shiny.
“I….love how you look.” Vivian repeated, taking in all of the outfits as continued to soak in Miss Rileys words. “Of course you would after all. Cause like me, you absolutely love latex right? That’s why you were staring at me on the rooftop. You loved how I look, You want to wear what I wear, Am I right? Of course I am.”
The words kept coming, Vivian couldn’t even repeat them. But she found herself silently nodding along to what Miss Riley was saying. Even if it went against her memories. She absolutely loved latex, it's what made Miss Riley look so good and why Vivian was listening to her, right? “Now, I believe you would look absolutely amazin in latex as well. Hugging your body tightly, showing off what I believe are your curves. You would be just that lil bit cuter.” She said, praising and reaffirming the ideas onto Vivian.
“Now, I believe what would make you look as good as possible. I believe you would look best in black, Don’t you agree? Of course you do, You know I know best when it comes to Latex right? Tight, smooth black latex. Makin it the best you you can look.” Riley continued to spin like an expert. Vivian believed her full heartedly as she glided forward a little. “I….want black latex….” Her blush had grown, her entire face shifted from purple to red at this point.
The Shadow Siren was almost on autopilot as she looked around the wardrobe. Riley didn’t even need to tell her she could take one. She lightly floated up as, in her trance, she was drawn to a cute latex dress. She grabbed it and gently lifted it off its wooden hook. “This….This one….I want this one…” She mumbles out almost slurred. It was as if this was what she wanted all her life. The dress itself was plain, with no sleeves but had a small hoop skirt.
Riley grinned as she continued with the sweet, sensual tone. “Good, Try it on. We already know you’ll look good in it.” Vivian floated back down. Unfolding the dress. It was a little long but she could make it work. Riley walked over, gently lifting Vivians hat as the Shadow Siren quickly slid the smooth dress over her head. Slipping into it nicely. Riley placed her hat back on her head as she continued. “Now you look amazin now don’t you Vivian. So shiny you really make yourself pop out. I must imagine you love that right? The dress hugs your body so nicely. Its tight, smooth feelin on your curves must be everything you dreamed of, right?”
“Y-Yes. It's….everything I’ve wanted.” Vivian said, running her gloved hands over her dress. Riley quickly took notice of that, shuffling quickly to grab a matching pair of latex gloves and handing them over to Vivian. The Shadow Siren merely gasped excitedly as she immediately tossed off her old ones and slipped them on. These ones were longer, much smoother and, to Vivian, a straight upgrade to her old ones. Miss Riley ruffled Vivians hat as she wasn’t done yet. “There we go, nearly perfect now. You look so much better than your already gorgeous old self. This is your ideal fashion isn’t it? I can’t imagine you wearin anythin else, can you?”
Vivian paused for a moment, the gears in her entranced mind finally trying to process her new look. Riley moved quickly as she rolled a mirror in front of Vivian. The Shadow Siren stared at herself in the mirror. All of what Riley had said quickly was taking root in her brain and she was finding herself agreeing more and more with it. She reached out to the mirror…”Perfect…”
Riley nodded with the statement before an idea struck her. “Wait wait wait, One more thing.” She quickly reached into her purse and pulled out a tube of black lipstick. Then gently grabbing Vivians face and puffing her lips out. Making sure to apply several coats of lipstick. “Annnnd there. Now that should be all. You look perrrfect.” Riley said, hanging onto the perfect part so it really slid on into her mind. Vivian couldn’t help but agree, she looked perfect….
“Don’t you love it? You look so perfect. This is how you wanna look from now on, right? Of course you do.” Riley continued, drilling it home for Vivian. Her grin and her sensual voice grew quieter as she leaned back in. “You wanna wear this stuff all the time right? By the looks of it, this is your new favorite outfit. Because this is just who you are right?”
Vivian continued to nod along, Miss Riley was so right. This is who she was all along, and she looked amazing. “This is because Latex is just so perfect. The smooth feelin on your skin is just heaven. There’s nothin wrong with it, at all. You flaunt it so well girl. You should make it your norm. Makin all of your friends jealous, perhaps also convincin them to take it up as well? Can you imagine that? Your friends are also wearing Latex and looking as perfect as they can be?”
Vivian absorbed all of the information like a sponge. Riley eventually stood back up after checking her watch. Wheeling the mirror away before she gently took Vivians hand and pulled her away from the wardrobe. There was more the actress would love to drill into the Shadow Sirens head. But she did have stuff to do this evening, so she needed to get a move on. Vivian would go along with it, while she would love to just stare at all of the shiny perfection in the wardrobe. She wouldn’t object. Just gliding along with a big smile and blushed face.
At the entrance, Riley turned around and spoke sensually one last time. “Now then Lil Vivian, I’m gonna countdown from 3. When I do, you’ll wake up from this trance, not even remembering that you were in a trance and go about your day. Enjoying the new you for hopefully all eternity. Got it?” Riley didn’t even give Vivian a chance to respond as she began counting down. “3…..2…..1…”
Riley would raise her fingers in front of Vivian before snapping them. A shock would be sent through Vivians mind as the gears in her mind finally broke free and started turning at full speed. She shook her head and suddenly, she was outside with Miss Riley. She looked around in confusion before her new friend placed an arm around her. “Well then, I hope this is a start to your new look into fashion. I’m happy to help with your lil idea.” The actress said, playing it off as if this was Vivians idea to change her look a bit. The Shadow Siren stood there, confused for a moment before it all clicked into place. She shook her head and smiled. “Of course, Thank you Miss Riley. I feel absolutely amazing in this dress….” She trailed off, feeling over it once again. Miss Riley simply chuckled.
“You look absolutely amazing Vivian. But you’re welcome. They don’t call me Shiny Riley for nothing.“ She said, causing the Shadow Siren to blush, again. Riley quickly pulled out her phone and asked “Now then, how about a picture before you go?”
“I would love to!” Vivian chimed, perhaps a little too excited as she glided over to Rileys side. The Actress happily raised her phone and pulled Vivian close. The Shadow Siren somehow blushing even more as Riley said. “Say cheese!”
One Camera flash later and Vivian was happily saying goodbye to her new dear friend. Waving as they both walked in opposite directions. Vivian paused for a moment as she watched the sun setting in the horizon. She had completely forgotten why she was in Rogueport to begin with. She then found herself shrugging. It must’ve not been all that important if she got super sidetracked with Miss Riley.
Vivian gilded onwards, taking in the looks she was getting from the onlookers around her. For once in her life, she was enjoying the attention she got. She couldn’t entirely explain why, but she really was. Vivian found herself smirking as she thought about all of the changes she was gonna be making to her home as well. It was certainly gonna be a shiny new venture for her.

Little something I wrote up. 50% because of the TTYD remake coming up (I was a Gamecube kid so act surprised I'm hyped for that). Vivian is best girl and I for some reason am really motivated to write Hypnosis/Mind Control works for the Mario series. May keep up with that ;)
The other 50% was pure brainrot for a new OC I had made. Making her debut I hope you all like Miss Riley Brooklyn, or as she's known elsewhere "Shiny Riley". Doesn't take a genius to guess what her gimmick is.
As per usual, any criticism is welcome. Especially for this one as Riley is meant to have a light New York/Jersey accent and I can't write accents for shit lol
