The Power Of The Pencil
Remember, art is lifeless without the soul that an actual artist gave to it.
BreakThePencil people, when you pick up a pencil, you can create an amazing world that you can imagine without stealing anything just to feed a soul-less computer.

I kinda want to start a trend. Draw your own character or your favorite character, holding a pencil, and being powerful with it. No matter your art skills is. Just draw ^^

The fact some people are so afraid of the word "pencil" shows that they don't actually care about art or being an artist. They only care about instant gratification and clout with none of the work.
I still saved all my high school agenda books and notepads. They're filled with little pencil and pen doodles around the assignment blocks - little explosions and shooting and stick figures and gold bars... and of course, that "S" everybody tried to master.
Back then, I didn't know I was going to do digital art. Now I recognize my creativity was spurned by schoolwork, only to be freed once I graduated. Those were good times!

I'm a victim of that S trend too hahah
But man, it's a nice memory. Also, that's really great.
I never expected too myself that I became the digital artist I am now.

Yeah, I agree.
I don't know why but some people nowadays are always be offended by something. Something as small as a pencil.

For real.
The worst thing is, they're actually trying to convince people to commission them. It did made my blood boil.

It's terrible. Making money off of AI art when there are genuinely better artists who make better art is problematic.
Well...I've heard dumber reaches from people snorting the copium. I mean, yeah, when I write, it's mostly on a keyboard, but I still use a pen/pencil every now and again for writing and arting. XD
You can still use keyboard for writing. At least it's not much of an AI-generated prompt that some people claim it's their idea but it's actually a bunch of splices of everything on the internet.
True true. I like AI-generated content for the cursed cringe, ESPECIALLY in writing since it comes off like the Sims 3 patch notes reading. It's like watching Tommy Wiseau's The Room; you can't help but laugh because of how bad it is that it rounds back around to being good. That and I don't think AI should ever be used as a replacement for a skill, rather a utility/tool that can help you when you need it to: i.e., it should be used SPARINGLY for moments where it's NECESSARY. I remember this YouTuber by name Fawful's Minion who talked about that briefly in his video on Top 10 Gaming Superpowers in relation to the segment on Scribbling: "Takes a real superhero to show us what A.I. art is SUPPOSED to be: meme-able chaos that keeps mouths smiling not an alien STD that drives them to fellate shotguns." I mean...blunt and based, but...yeah... XD
*drives me

Super agree with it.
It's just crazy that more and more people are going into this route. AI supposed to be a tool to help us, not to replace anything and call it "the future". Cause this is not the future we creatives all wished for.
Also, I understand the edit thing ^^

Right? And what really pisses me off, what really grinds my gears, what really REALLY concerns me, is how we have hundreds - nay THOUSANDS - of fictional pieces across all forms of art and media, showcasing EXACTLY why using AI as a REPLACEMENT for ANYTHING is a really...REALLY disastrously, monumentally stupid idea! Seriously, has NOBODY ever heard of Isaac Asimov before!? O.o
Yeah. It's really disturbing.
It really drives me mad more is they are charging people for these AI people's services, even tho AI is just getting a lot of information inside the internet to create that "piece"
That's just plain stupidity

Nah, it's not just plain stupidity; it's so stupid it deserves one of these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-bVEc8oZvk
Aww. But you use a stylus, right?
For me, it's still a pencil. A digital pencil.

Ahh I see. That's really extremely impressive. I can't even do that, but I tried it before.
Some say the pen is mightier than the sword, and to that I say: Glock
I have this friend who'd always say "The Pen is mightier than the Sword because you can use the pen to sign for a license to get a pistol." XD
There are times where I really, really, REALLY do not regret staying away from social media.
I just got a fresh batch of pencils.
I just got a fresh batch of pencils.
I agree to this.
Tho the internet is really noisy nowadays.

Ah well. If working with pencils is enough to make the AI tech bros angry enough to give them an aneurysm...
...I'm doing my part!
