Outfit for the Noble Werewolf.
Lately I’m very busy with treating my animals in real life, so my working pace became much slower,
but I still care about every small detail of my art. I’m doing my best. Thank you for all the support!

I get pushback on this all the time, but footwear designed for beings with non-human leg/foot shapes, but that otherwise are fully clothed by human standards and exist in contexts where people would generally wear shoes of somekind is seriously underexplored.
Generally characters just have human-like feet and wear shoes, or have paws, but go barefoot no matter what, or wear digitigrade (or whatever) shoes, but the toes are just gratuitously uncovered in ways that no actual shoe would bother doing.
Mind you, I LIKE seeing non human leg designs whether they involve footwear or not, but It's cool to see a design explore this idea.

This was a custom outfit, so I just followed his owner’s requests. I know some artists even have a special commission type as “boots design”, as that’s a very hard work to take into account all anatomical features and draw everything correct. Many of them even design boots in 3D first.
This was an outfit comm, so I’ve drawn boots as I could and the character’s owner likes this ☺️

The gold/metallic parts are so cool and realistic. Do you have a tutorial or any tips on how you manage that? It's awesome.
That’s just maaaany many layers of different colors 😅
Thank you!
Thank you!
