Smoked lemonade
Ingredients:
12 lemons
Just over one cup of sugar
Water
Ice
Pinch of pink salt
(When I was smoking the lemon I did add a few chucks of maple wood to the charcoal smoker)
Method:
Use a potato peeler to remove the yellow skin of 6 of the lemons and set in a small bowl with the sugar and mix well and let sit in the fridge for at least one hour. Take the peeled loons and cut in half as well as the non peeled lemons and set them on a smoker that is around 200 Degrees and let the almost smoke for about one hour or until the lemons are soft. Once the lemons are smoked juice them and let the juice sit in the fridge until cooled.
Next add 6 cups of water to a pot and set on the stove and heat up until the water starts to boil. Add the lemon peel and the sugar to the hot water and mix until the sugar has dissolved and let that sit in the fridge until cool. Strain the lemon peels and add the water to a pitcher. Then add the lemon juice to the pitcher with ice then fill the pitcher up with the cold water and let site in the fridge until its nice and cold.

'w'! Oh! I wonder if applewood would work for something like this, but maple sounds better for sweeter things... *nod nod!* It's been years since I had a proper smoker, since I moved to the city, it's hard to get a good one that doesn't pissoff neighbors or landlords or managers, etc. ;w;...
I never even tough of the posibility.... Only thing I ever smoked was my fire alarm when i accidently burned my bread
