This will be her downfall because her contracts are now deleted.
Is it just me, or does Roko have a new appearance?
He's trying to hold himself together. Note he's also got the inventory necklace in his mouth.
How do you think Darya will react? Surprised, annoyed at the shoddy repairs or other?
Because she had no idea that her favorite servant had suddenly gone rogue, and while she was distracted with Brand's shenanigans with the tower, Saida yoinked the eyestone to "keep it safe." Darya really expected Cellarius to just kill Bottlenose and be done with it. She had literally no idea the shenanigans that went on in there before Brand suddenly decided it was the FO time of FAFO.
That has got to be one of the biggest "screw you" in the entire comic, Brand taking out all of Darya's mind control contracts in one big hit. Dime Store Ursula is going to find herself either alone or in the middle of complete bedlam very shortly. Unfortunately for Roko it's already complete bedlam where he is.
Face it, Brand has been waiting to go full metal Alastor for almost the entire time he's been stuck in Saida's body, and he finally got his chance to cut loose and show how powerful a quetz's body really was.

All while Saida is watching Brand do what with her body??
Maybe she doesn't know her own strength…. Until she saw how Brand used them!

they make her angry enough that she turns them back to normal
they can't hold their breath long enough to make it back to the surface
welp

The pendants give them their aquatic features. Brand and Saida showed that when the contracts were destroyed the pendants weren't. Just the mind control. So all the artificial aquatics will stay that way at least in the short term.
Assuming the contracts were really destroyed, and it wasn't just one copy of them...
Well, I don’t think the mistress will be too happy about this
Uh oh... Brand probably might think twice if he knew he was rescuing Roko, here...!
:P jk. But Darya: You REALLY think this changes ANYTHING?! First rule of contracts, idiot: ALWAYS do your work in triplicate. PUNISHMENT TIME!
(If Darya were a realistic contractor.)

Knocking down the tower won't really accomplish anything besides possibly Cellarius' death, and likely annoying Darya. Keep in mind: Buried in rubble or not, those contracts are all still legally and magically binding until they are actually destroyed. Bury em in rubble all you want, all you'll get is a golf clap if you're lucky, Brand...
Yknow, I suppose Roko wouldn't really have to fear Cellarius here anyways, given he's safe from the reapers as long as he inhabits a body, which can be dead anyways. What's he gonna do, kill him more? Not like there's much sentimental value in that skeleton.
Though I guess that begs the question if Roko could still possess a skeleton that's been pounded into a fine dust
