"Well, there's one good thing about being human. You can keep dry and walk even in a downpour. Think you can stay close by, Chatte?"
"Y-yeah! Real close..."

"Lala's experience as a human Chatte Noire was mitigated by Mowgli's generosity in helping this new fish out of water. It helped that he had a way too obvious crush on her as a heroine much to her amusement and has more than a little fun at his expense. I mean... it was just her teasing and messing about, right? Just like when she was a wolf.
However, the weather turned after a little trouble with the Bander-Log and was pouring like one big waterfall. Finding a huge leaf for cover, Mowgli held it over both him and Chatte while pulling her close to him. Now it was her turn to go red in the face. He had seemed so confident and gentlemanly this whole time he had guided her but this display of chivalry made her heart skip a beat.
All the while, their Kwamis who were invisible to all but their Bearers observed them as they headed for Council Rock. Tikki sighed dreamily over how gallant Mowgli was being and could only imagine how proud Alexander would be of how his son had grown. Plagg, on the other hand, roasted the hell out of Lala for falling for the man-cub that she'd whinge on about. Deep down? A part of him was happy for the she-wolf finding some sort of happiness.
Lala would go back to being a wolf and be cagey around Mowgli as usual but one couldn't help but notice a sort of affection to the way she chided him. Maybe she meant it? Maybe she wanted to make sure her secret identity stayed secret? Who knows but the Cat Bearer herself?"
