After so long of making things, my dad finally wanted me to make him something and I jumped on that faster than anything.
He wanted a knife with a guard and I obliged.
This knife is made from a section of leaf spring that I got off a dead golf cart.
The guard is a slice of material I cut from the parent body of the handle, bent outward, flattened, and then forge brazed on with some copper wire scrap to the butt of the handle.
My father wanted a leather wrap handle and I was glad to do that for it as well, way easier lol.
This knife comes with a false edge so it can be used as a weapon if needed and thusly stabbing is more efficient due to the fact there's less resistance. Think of it like a two edged knife (dagger) but one end is dulled.

Ilike that "Hammered" look across the top of the blade. It hints of a stone knife or one that had been hammer forged.
That's a combination of the round face of hammer and the scale being removed from it. It leaves a stoney look, yeah.
Heh. Thank you very much. I like to specialize in shit like that. Your leather gauntlets aren't too bad either. It makes me wonder what you're capable of if you got a hold of sheet metal.
Like a brake press you mean? Ah. Why don't you build one. It's basically made out of angle iron.
Yes, that's the one. I do have a bunch of (admittedly rusted/pitted) angle iron out here. I've also been looking to move cross-country for a while, and have been slowly packing up & prepping...
