Because
cocoalady said I should. And really, I didn't have any better ideas in mind for my next one, so why not?
There's a few things that bug me, the trees aren't quite what I wanted, and the midground looks a bit blurry... could be worse though, at least I finished this one without killing it! Practice, practice practice...
Used this loosley as a ref.

Haha, literally just as I leave a comment saying you should do a summer scene... and you do one! :D Now this is even nicer. The weather over here is very much like this currently, and I've been spending my days lying in the cool grass shaded under a tree, relaxing and listening to the birdsong. This conveys that whole feeling, the sunlight looks perfect, the way it catches and shines through the trees, so again, well done. ^^
Well, it's only my second 100% acrylic landscape painting. I'm sure as I practice I can get better, but we'll see how that goes I suppose. x3
I don't, strictly speaking, but if people keep mentioning ideas in these comment sections, I'll probably keep trying to paint different stuff. Saves me making decisions myself and helps me force myself to try a variety of stuff. x3

The only problem is it would be very tricky to use this method of painting for a background for my characters. To paint like this I use a lot of very big sweeping strokes to completely fill in the background smoothly, which is impossible when painting around a character. I'll have to work something out though, if I get good enough at these. x3
Bwha, good luck with that. With this I could look directly at a photo and didn't have to put much detail into the foreground, most of the focus is in the distance. With a normal picture that focuses on characters, not only do I have the trouble of having to paint around some characters, I have no ref as they're rarely usable and more of the focus is in the close up detailed bits that I can't do.
Commissions won't be seeing backgrounds like this for quite some time. x3
