did a really tremendous job with my reference, and is really just the nicest guy to work with for commissions.
You should go give him a watch - go on! I'll wait for you to get back.
So, this is Amythra, my in-world persona and the 'voice' of my post-apocalyptic anthropomorphic roleplay setting. See, in any imaginary setting you need a character who delivers the world to the reader/viewer - which is more often than not the main protagonist as well. But in a roleplaying game the players are the main protagonists, so, for me at least, the voice for the setting becomes a ruler, mentor, or other worldly authority used to dole out backstory and adventures to the players.
Amythra is a cross between the grumpy tower-bound Wizard and the gritty cyberpunk Fixer, and is generally available to the players as a source of history, rumors, things to go on adventures for, and a fence for the stuff they return with on occasion. And, like the older hybrids in this setting, Amythra used to be Human - but an event twenty four years ago dramatically changed the world and a lot of the people. The younger 20-something hybrids were 'born this way' and, in general, don't have the ties to the Old World that someone like Amythra has.
