I can understand, but that come with time ^^
Still i think it would be fun to see :3
i do not know what you use as app for modeling, but for my part i use blender and it's not that bad when i rendering animation too ^^

I use Blender too. I worked in Maya for some time, but then moved to Blender
Aw and how is it for you if i may ask ? To change software ?
And honestly animation in blender isn't that hard ^^ if you have riged the characther , you can move the bones in pose mode and press the "I" key to insert a keyframe, you also need the timeline screen to see where you want to change movement at each frame, and for expression, if you use shapekey you also can press "I" on it to make a keyframe (but the problem of pressing "I" it Will automaticly insert keyframe for any type of movement (like rotation, position and scale in same time, wish it's quite anoying when you have to make him walk or run and have resset all the position)
So you also can left click , add key frame, and select the type of key frame depending of what you made as movement (rotation, position, scale).
(Well idk why i learn you all that, you probably know ^^' But in any case that still hard to not see without exemple)

Heh, for me it's not the technical issue, rather animating skills. I animated some simple stuff before, but not dances, so it will be quite a challenge to make everything smooth and natural. I actually studied animation for a year, but realized I wanted to create models and textures more than to animate
Aw sorry and i see ^^
It's always hard to do something smooth and natural , i learn 3D animation independently constantly since 2 years (so no school) but i still have trouble to sometime do something natural, the most recent "walk" animation one i have made for exemple look like he skates on a waxy and slippery floor ^^'
It's always hard to do a movement Who look realistic so i can understand that a dance could be painful :/
And i can see that ^^ you put realy great effort on your 3D artwork ^^ i cannot wait to see more later :3
