I thought It would be fun to participate in TransforMAYtion over on Twitter.
Every day is a different transformation prompt/theme.
I also decided to do these in a 1bit style, instead of my usual more rendered pixel art style, mainly so they don't take me all day to create xD

I was thinking when it comes to any feral-like transformation and it being permanent, a kitsune is probably one of the few options I'd take (or a fox familiar, no surprise there). Assuming said kitsune has some level of magic/ability to at least communicate in some way and be able to keep intelligence. And I mean if they can shapeshift then it's a no-brainer.
Cause I don't think I'd last very long as if I was just a regular fox '>.<.

Sorry for the slow reply! I tend to agree on the permanent feral TF thing that I would also choose a Kitsune, fox familiar could also be fun, and yes keeping your intelligence, mind and personality is important I really don't get TF's that don't do that, I mean the you that is 'you' isn't around to experience it any more otherwise. I suspect I would be the same, even actually foxes don't last very long in the wild, I believe the average lifespan is about two years!
Oh and if the transformation wasn't permenant I'd like to experience being a snake for a while, but one of the big python constrictors to be exact, preferably a Burmese. If any mad scientists and / or witches are reading this please take note. I mean it's not like I could after you were done with me!

Why TF if you/they don't get to enjoy/deal with the consequences afterwards :P
In my eyes, permanently wiping someone's identity/personality is sorta the same as just killing that person.
Having some new animal instincts, impulses or behavioural traits are fine and it can be interesting to see how individual deal with them, but they should never outright replace the person.
Anyway thank you all for coming to my my anti-identity death ted talk.

Absolutely, I agree 100% with all of that. I've had discussions with people on the other side of the argument and I'm not certain if they just don't get, aren't willing to understand, or do understand but won't admit what identity death is, it's exactly the same as killing the person in all important aspects. But like a lot of fetishes there's really no point arguing about it and I stopped that a long time ago. The fact it's so popular is downright skeevy and disturbing.
A good illustration of this is what happened to Murphy in the original Robocop, it was wiping his memories, not replacing his body, which destroyed him as a person, but that aspect isn't commonly recognised.
Sorry for the rant but this is a peeve of mine and it ruins a lot of otherwise potentially good TF stories and art! Mainly when it's not acknowledged, you can write a good story about it if it's shown as exactly what it is.
Also, cutest Ted talk ever! For the presenter if not the content ;)
