For Day 4 of MerMay I decided to draw Aquaman, particularly the version from Batman The Brave and the Bold since he's my favorite. While he's maybe not the most badass version of Aquaman, this version of Aquaman exudes charm and charisma, always ready and excited to tell tales of past adventures. While this version of Aquaman can be annoyingly optimistic at times, I remember this one episode where he was depressed throughout most of it because he failed to save a group of whales, and the new hopeless demeanor that came from that failure even disturbed Batman of all people, and had the caped crusader wanting Aquaman back to his usual jovial self. Though to keep things brief I have a lot of fond memories watching The Brave and the Bold, and Aquaman was definately one of the main reasons behind it, from the times he was a loving father taking his family on a road trip, to when he and the rest of the superheroes in gotham where trying to take down Starro togehter, Outrageous isn't a word I'd use to describe this King of the Ocean.
