Yeah, it's a bit more horror than my usual. Was interesting to try and create all the fog effects though. And thanks for the fav.
Should have been wary about what lurked in the fog... Deviousness incarnate, that's what.
I mean... unless you want to be an otter person. Then delving into the fog might be just want you'd want to do.
An ottery outlook on life doesn’t seem so bad. They are rather playful creatures.
Also, nice tail burst in progress.

Thanks for the fav. Yes, there are far worse fates. Being an otter wouldn't be so bad at all.
I really don't draw enough tail bursts despite how fun they are. I was originally thinking of doing so on the werewolf picture, but ended up with the front view instead.

Old dieties, gods, and similar tramsforming people is always my favorite folktale.
I agree. I think I had kind of got this myth mixed up with another one in my head which is why it turned more horror. I actually like the description of them being helpful to poor people stuck out in the cold by giving them a fur coat... and tail... and cute little ears. I mean it's much easier to survive in the frigid north if you're an otter.
True there are some downsides to following the legend. I do find the idea that they are trying to be helpful by turning you into an otter though is really kind of cute and funny.
Hehe, as a person who owned a otter plushie as a child, I felt a bit nostalgic.
Glad you like it and thanks for the fav. It's nice to remember old things like that. Also, otters are just pretty adorable. I looked at a lot of them when making this.
That's the truth if I've ever heard it, otters just are automatically cute and there is no other way to look at it.
They also act hilarious even if they aren't aware: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzDf0USVcVg
