Bio / Lore: A time traveler marked by the ever-changing flows of temporal possibilities, and adorned by his time crystal, Entropy strives to offer help and counsel to those requiring it. Always remembering those important to him, though his judgement never clouded by emotion or affiliations, he often acts as a mediator, ensuring conflicts are resolved in a peaceful manner.
His travels make Entropy one you should seek knowledge from. His knowledge is varied and thorough - this fact, combined with his eagerness to teach and inform, makes him someone to seek for various worldly and otherworldly information.
Outside of obligations, you can often find him acting like an oversized blanket to those he loves, heartwarming and cuddly as can be. Those seeking mischief should remain wary of him, however, as Entropy's strong sense of justice will often lead him to act as a formidable foe, should someone have malicious intents.
A bit of explanation of the concept, if it helps appreciate the concept better. Two reasons, and two design decisions.
The thermodynamics explanation of "given enough time, any system tends towards disorder" is a concept that has always appealed to me. This is represented by the pendant: an artefact from Final Fantasy XIII-2 - in other words, a time crystal. One of the rare objects that, in theoretical physics, will not see its entropy increase over time, sort of "resisting" it.
But most importantly, I'm a huge nerd, studying computer science and AI. In machine learning specifically, a concept that comes about and is used a lot is Shannon or information entropy. Cross-entropy is a critical part of neural network learning, which leads us to design pattern number two: the wings. Idea was to somehow represent this concept of entropy on the body, and this is the design pattern we came up with - trying to mimic a graph representation of a neural network.
