Marshall Jam: Diabonik Incursion - Part 1
Marshall was smiling as his mommy Laura secured a fresh Dry-Pawz Maximum diaper on him. “You're pretty cheery today” she said “Have any plans?”.
“I do mommy” Marshall answered “I'm going on a playdate with my idol Tails Miles Prower”. “That's very nice sweetie. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Just don't forget to return by dinnertime okay?”. “Yes mom”.
Marshall put on a blue cap and red-short with the number 10 and skipped out of the house. He headed for the Fern-Nettle field by the town outskirts, which was the rendezvous point to meet Tails. Marshall had been looking forward to this occasion for many weeks.
A buzzing and whirring sound caught Marshall’s ears. He saw an approaching yellow biplane. He knew that this was Tails’ personal plane, the Tornado. Marshall stood back a bit as the plane made a smooth landing on the field.
“Hey Marshall!” Tails called out, waving in his seat “It's good to see you again”. He wore a pilot’s helmet and goggles as well as his white work gloves. “It's good to see you too” Marshall said. “Come in and buckle up” Tails told him “We're off to Mobi-City”.
“I just need to be back home by evening” Marshall said as he climbed into the plane and buckled his safety harness. ‘I’ve got you covered” Tails assured his friend. He took out a length of inflatable rubber then pulled a cord.
The rubber inflated into a full-sized Marshall lookalike, except that it didn't look convincing. “My mom will never fall for that” Marshall pointed out. “This robot doll is fitted with a mirage projector so that anyone who looks will think it's you” Tails explained.
He pressed a button on the Marshall Doll and a ray of light projected all over it. Now it looked exactly like Marshall. “Ready for operation coverup” the doll uttered. Tails had thought of everything and used voice simulation to make the robot doll lively. This backup plan was to make sure Marshall would not be missed.
As the Marshall Doll began its walk around Pine Valley, Tails took off and flew the plane for Mobius. Marshall did not truly know where in the world Mobius was, but the country was safely hidden from greedy explorers and any form of external espionage.
Marshall chatted with Tails about finishing his school year, his adventures at the beach, and his awesome video game collection. Tails told his buddy about how the freedom fighters thwarted Dr. Eggman’s latest evil scheme to replace the indigenous animals with robotic counterparts.
“Well Sonic kicks Dr. Eggbutt again” Marshall declared “Shame on the evil doctor capturing innocent creatures”. “Here we are. Say hello to Mobi-City” Tails announced.
Tails landed his Tornado plane on the top of a multistorey car park and activated the security system to lock the controls. “Here are Marshall” Tails declared as he got out “And I know just the place for some quality time”.
As the two-tailed fox got out, Marshall noticed he was diapered thickly. “I see you're padded up for our play date” he said. “Yep” Tails told him, taking his yellow rucksack out “Perfect for this occasion. I'm a Lil' fox kit like yourself”.
The two foxes walked a couple of blocks to a family friendly eatery called Cool-Zoom-Food. The place had a lot of happy families and dating teens. Squirrels, lizards, cats, sparrows and many more enjoyed themselves. No one seemed to care that Tails and Marshall were in diapers.
Inside the eatery Marshall chose a small table with a circular couch seating going around it. Next to the table was an indoor playground with tunnels, ladders, slides, ball pits, and lots more.
While Marshall sat at the table and looked after his friend’s rucksack, Tails went to the counter to place an order. He felt like treating his friend to something extra delicious and filling.
A few minutes later, a couple of cute deer waitresses came to Tails and Marshall’s table, one with two toddler booster seats, and one with two trays of food and drink. They were happy to help the two customers in their seats and served them. Marshall and Tails gave a polite thank you.
Marshall sniffed the delicious scent of his meal. Tails had ordered a double cheese chilidog with crinkle cut fries and a double cream chocolate milkshake. Tails had a Met Cheeseburger with onion rings and soda. To Marshall’s delight, the meals were in baby plates with baby cutlery and the drinks were in baby bottles.
“Boy you really went the extra mile” said Marshall, taking a bite out of his chilidog. “It's for you and me” replied Tails “It's our special baby buddy playdate”. They both suckled their drinks and munched their grub until their plates were empty.
Now that the two buddies had eaten, they felt like playing in the playground. They got out of their booster seats. Tails made sure to hang his rucksack on a nearby coat rack. They went through the baby gate and dived into the nearest ball pit.
What a fun time both foxes were having. They explored the playground and tried every ride and game. They stopped to help a few other cubs up the slides. It felt so good to play as cubs.
But as Marshall reached the top of the biggest spiral slide, he felt an increasing pressure in his belly. With a yelp, a big, stinky, mushy load exploded into his diaper. Tails gave Marshall a helpful push down the slide. Marshall felt the mess press against his butt as he slid round and round, until he reached the bottom.
Tails followed down the slide and saw the end result of Marshall’s accident. “You look very pooped” he said “What say we take you to the changing station?”. “Yes, I'd like that very much” Marshall agreed.
Tails held Marshall’s paw and led him through the baby gate, reclaimed his rucksack, and they both went to the baby’s changing room in the restrooms. The mess-filled diaper made Marshall waddle all the way.
Tails helped Marshall on to a changing table, and fish out a thick diaper from his rucksack, along with some wipes, baby oil, and baby powder. Marshall relaxed as his friend took off the messy diaper, cleaned him up, and had some nice new comfy little padding on his bottom.
As Tails fastened the final tape, a ringing sound came from his rucksack. “Gotta get that” he said and took out a walkie talkie styled smartphone, then answered the caller. Marshall got up from the changing table and waited.
As Tails finished the call he told Marshall “We have to go now! There are badniks coming this way!”. “We've beaten them before, we can beat them again” said Marshall. Tails packed the changing supplies, while Marshall took out the big of balled up used diapers from the bin. Dirty diapers could come in handy.
There was panic among the townsfolk, who were cowering into the nearest buildings as a swarm of drone-beebots in the air, and a herd of roach-walkers on the ground were terrorising Mobi-City.
“Dr Eggman's at it again!” Tails exclaimed. “You go for the badniks in the air” Marshall told him “I'll go for the ones on the ground”. Tails got some tools out of his rucksack, while Marshall drew out a sledgehammer (no telling how he got it or where it came from).
Tails spun his two tails, flew upwards and started using his wrench and hammer to smash the drone-beebots. Those airborne badniks shot mini laser beams, but the genius inventor fox had agility enough to dodge the projectiles.
Marshall tackled a roach-walker and smashed its thorax with the sledgehammer. The young fox’s weapon was powerful enough to bust through badniks armour effectively just like Amy Hedgehog’s Pika Hammer.
As the swarm of drone-beebots circled around Tails, he simply mounted one of them, then forced it to fly and slam against the other flying badniks, causing them to spin out of control and explode.
The roach-walkers were also proving to be persistent. Marshall swung his sledgehammer like a golf club and sent one badniksl flying and spinning, resulting in it's legs impaling six others, which blew up shortly afterwards.
Finally Tails sent the last remaining drone-beebot hurtling it at the last roach-walker, colliding into and destroying both badniks. Tails carefully landed on the ground near Marshall.
“Neat job!” Tails cried happily “We got those badniks real good!”. “Awesome pest control” Marshall said. Both buddies gave high fives, but Tails then immediately farted and a wet and messy accident in his diaper.
“It's changed time for you” Marshall said. “Yeah” Tails replied “Back to the changing station I guess”. So Marshall took his friend by the paw back to the Cool-Zoom-Food, and into the restroom.
After the diaper change Tails took his friend back to the Tornado plane. “According to the Mobian freedom fighters” he explained “Badniks are attacking random cities diverting their forces from one location to another”.
Tails paid his parking fare, then he and Marshall got into the plane and took off. “So what's the plan?” Marshall asked. “I'm not yet sure” Tails answered “We'd better get back to headquarters and assess the situation. "It's really good to have you on the team”. “It's an honour” Marshall said, beaming.
It was late afternoon as the two friends approached a camouflage painted building built right inside a hill. Marshall hoped that Tails' Marshall doll would keep his parents and friends unaware of his absence. There was more work to do.
