Is the loss of identity just a quiet death or the beginning of a new life?

Memory loss has got to be one of those writing tropes that never gets old for me.

I've lately realized that I only think in terms of value when rendering, so I decided to try and paint something as colorful as I could. And for some reason, I also decided to paint a human face, which I had never actually learned to paint or draw properly. So this is a very experimental piece. I'm not too happy about how it turned out, but I learned a lot from making it.
I'm open for commissions!
