I always wondered if she wanted to get X'd; Pebbles definitely did, all the game's problems were caused by him so desperately seeking release from the cycle. But by Saint's storyline, Moon had finally gotten around to repairing herself. Would she want to continue living, now that she finally was back in working order? Or be given the big X, the solution to The Problem the iterators were left to solve, literally coming to her doorstep in the form of a tonguey green cat blob.

That's true! Saint's lore and role as a bodhisattva, freeing everything slowly, cycle over cycle, is really interesting. So are the void worms, and the void, and ah rain world lore is so fun to nerd out over haha. I love how everyone you talk to has their own theories and interpretations.
I know very little about the source material(by which I mean nothin') but you did good here, I like the composition and posing, you seemed to learn a lot more with brush work and texture for this one compared to past paintings! The fluffiness of the critter and reflectivity of the robotic hand contrast nicely.
