My OC Backstory: (fare warning I wrote this in my notes and I’m not a writer)

On the surface Naomi may look like a typical beautiful Succubus bounty hunter/assassin/bodyguard, but there is a WHOLE LOT MORE than meets the eye, born in 1799 (personal headcanon that Succubi stop aging once they absorb enough sexual energy) Naomi was born to a beautiful succubus named Brianna and a mysterious woman named Kali, Kali was no demon, she was the daughter of Shiva The Destroyer, one of the Trimurti, the three most powerful beings in the universe, beyond even the most powerful of angels. neither angel or demon, for it is said they each represent an aspect or a fraction of The One, The Om, The Atman, The Absolute… God, ever since the fall of Lucifer & Man they have been to trying to keep balance, but it’s getting tough, but over 1,225 years ago Heaven starting to fear Hells growing numbers of Hellborn & Sinners and suggested action must be taken, Adam suggested a yearly extermination on the sinners and would scare the Hellborn into submission, this disgusted both the Trimurti and the Heavenly Buddhas (enlightened mortals in life who felt/experienced cosmic consciousness, and managed to ascend to a heavenly form slightly more powerful than the seraphim themselves, four of them including Jesus, Buddha, Moses, & Muhammad) The Trimurti suggest a a more humane way to show that Heaven should have nothing to fear, Shiva had a daughter, a great, wise, yet powerful warrior he birthed from his own shadow, she respected as she was feared, her name was Kali, Shiva suggested that they would send Kali down to Hell to live amongst the Hellborn/Sinners and teach them to tame and control their dark nature, to show them a better way, Kali of course would do it,but she had her doubts, for thousands of years she has spent on Earth destroying and fighting the evils born in the hearts of men, and she feared that the demons wouldn’t be able to change their nature but her father, her uncles, and the Buddhas assured her that change is nature, and to have faith, so it was decided that She would be sent down amongst the demons and teach them The Eightfold Path, this enraged Adam who would prefer to just exterminate them and be done with, but Kali couldn’t give two shits, she never did like Adam, blaming him (along with Lucifer & Lilith) for the state of humanity and Earth, his hubris and pride drove Lilith away and into the arms of a jester who didn’t consider the consequences of his actions. so Kali took her leave and descended down to Naraka, where for the next 1,000 years she lived amongst them as a guru slowly but surely teaching the sinners & hellborn a better way to live, although she had many lovers, but eventually she meet a succubus named Brianna, the two of them married and had a child whom they named Naomi, who lived happily for 7 years but all that changed when she was 8. Lilith, Satan, and Mammon hating Kali undermining their authority were secretly offered a deal by Adam (who hated Kali and wanted her gone so he start his exterminations) He would limit the exterminations to the Pride Ring and the Earth-born sinners, exempting the royal family (Lilith, Lucifer, & and their newborn daughter) and the hellborn, if they teamed up and kill Kali, which they eagerly accepted, Lilith, Satan, & Mammon amassed their legions together (although Lilith & Mammon would not participate in the battle, preferring to leave the dirty work in the hands of Satan and Adam) and marched on Kali’s home, Kali fought off the army easily even overcoming Satan, however during the thick of battle Adam had taken Brianna & Naomi hostage forcing Kali to surrender, although she is the daughter of Cosmic Aspect, Kali’s physical form could still be destroyed, with Adam’s angelic steel & Satan demonic iron they both managed to end the Shadow of Shiva, much to the horror of Brianna & Naomi, the later whom grabbed her daughter and ran as fast she could, knowing that she would slow her down, Brianna using her Asmodeus Crystal, opens a portal kisses her daughter on the forehead goodbye, tells her she loves her, gives her the Crystal, and throws Naomi through the portal who could only watch in horror as the portal closed and her mother was cut down by those two monsters. Alone & Afraid, Naomi wanders through an arid Earth forest, Crying the loss of her two mothers, eventually she stopped at a river, curled up into ball to continue to cry for Creator knows how many hours, until she hears ethereal chant, and looks up to see a Cistercian Monk coming down a path next to the river, the Monk initially taken back by the site of this demon girl, takes out a crucifix and chants scripture to see if there is any adverse reaction (while Naomi just looks a little confused, not understanding what is going) eventually he places the crucifix on her head thinking it would cause her pain, only for nothing to happen, if anything the cross seemed to have bought a smidgen of peace to the grieving/confused girl, The Monk though still guarded but felt more reassured that this demon did not react violently to the cross, decides to converse with her asking what’s wrong, Naomi tells the monk what happened how an Angel and a Demon Lord had killed her both of her mothers, and is now alone on Earth, though a bit of the Monk still felt doubt that this demon girl is telling the truth (for it is said that demons lie), but in his heart he could feel that this is truly just a little girl lost in a foreign world, so he asks if she would like to come with him, she thought for a second, but considering this monk has been nice to her, she accepts but before she forgets she takes out the Asmodeus Crystal and uses it to disguise herself (her mother did taught her a litte) as they left the Monk asked for her name, which she replied Naomi, he admitted that was beautiful name, but he asked that since she is gonna be traveling with him, if he could give her another name, curious but not against the idea, she asks what did the Monk have mind, the Monk thought, this demon girl had arrived on Earth in the Holy Land, and he had found her crying on the bank of the River Jordan, so he felt there could only on good alias for her… Jordan, which she almost instantly took a liking to. (I switched back and forth calling Naomi Jordan later on but just remember their the same person)
Jordan would travel this strange new world with this Monk, learning things about humans, both good and bad, learning the different faiths practiced by those who live in The Holy Land, The Monk of always been opened minded and engaged with people of other faiths, (Hebrews and Muslims alike) during his pilgrimage he took time to teach Jordan of his faith (Catholicism) which she took an interest of learning more along with the other faiths, after his Pilgrimage it was time for him to head home to his hermitage in Belgium, not far from Westmalle Abbey, Jordan began to love the old monk like a father, and the Monk saw Jordan as they daughter he never had, they lived happily together in that little hermitage, The Monk taught her and welcomed her into the Catholic faith (going so far as to baptize her) despite all this happiness, a dark feeling was lurking in Jordan’s heart, a feeling of vengeance against the monsters who took her mothers away from her, she made a vow to herself that one day she would return to Hell and train herself to face Adam & Satan once for all, of course she would tell these feelings to the monk who of course didn’t 100% agree with, as Vengeance belonged to the Lord, but he asked if she would be doing this for what was done to her, or to keep these monsters from destroying any more lives, Jordan had no answer to this. For the next 9 years they lived in peace, Jordan kept learning more about this World, and would love to explore it more, but one day The Monk got real sick, both he and Jordan knew that his time in this world would not be much longer, on his death bed, he told Jordan how he had lost his daughter and wife when he was young, and he had become a Monk, he had a gift for Jordan’s 18th birthday, a black cross necklace which she accepted with tears, he told her that he loved her and then he passed, now alone once again, Jordan and the other monks of Westmalle Abby gave him a proper burial, saying goodbye to her father figure, there was only one she could do now, return to Hell and began training, using her Asmodeus Crystal she opened a portal and returned for the first time in 9 years. When Naomi was young, her mothers had a very close friend (she didn’t realize it when she was young but more like very close friends with benefits) The Countess Of Lezvos Alexandria Valentine, she was also a very powerful/beautful alchemist who Asmodeus had put in charge of creating Asmodeus Crystals (as well as regulating & licensing them) she and hundreds of other women were trained as warriors by Kali herself, known as the Vishakanya of Kali, if there was anyone could train her it was her.
(While the Lust Ring’s weather is usually dark and raining, the county of Lezvos was located in the only part of the Lust Ring where the sun only shined, it still rained frequently but was a sun-shower type weather, also considered the most beautiful part of the Lust Ring, and its well known for its wines)
When she arrived, Naomi was captured and brought before the Countess who wanted to know who this beautiful stranger was, Naomi told her she was the daughter of Kali & Brianna which Alexandria thought was lie, Naomi did manage convince Valentine of her linage much to the shock of the later, but while Alexandria was willing to train Naomi in the way of her mother, she felt that she would need to a different form of training, so she gave Naomi a task travel the human world and learn their ways of fighting, after all Kali spent thousands of years amongst them fighting, if there is anyone who she could truly learn the art of war from it’s humanity. So Naomi returned to Earth first, she started off simple learning the ways of European swordsmanship (but not the current ways of the rapier or the saber, but the older ways of the Broadsword) after mastering the ways of the broadsword, Jordan had a special broadsword made just for her, composed of an alloy composed of angelic steel (which she was able to procure thanks to Countess Valentine) demonic iron, and earthly silver, which it was forged in Hellfire, and cooled In Holy Water, and later blessed by nearly all the faiths of man, afterwards she traveled all over the world, in Brazil where she learned Capoeira, on the American frontier she learned sharpshooting from the frontiersmen, Tomahawk/Knife fighting, tracking, horseback riding, & archery from the Apache, Navajo, Comanche, Crow, Mohawk, & Lakota tribes, in Mongolia she learned traditional mounted combat, when she went south into the China, she started learning wushu, then she came to the Shaolin temple where she learned the martial arts from the monks, in all honesty, Jordan felt quite at home with the monks (who took a instant liking to her) not just being intrigued by their martial arts, but by their Buddhist faith too, while Jordan did considered her Christian, she also did start to adopt the Buddhist philosophy as well, soon enough she learned all she could to point she was pretty much a master, and had to continue her journey, but before she left the Abbot of the Shaolin Temple gave her a gift to remember them by, an obsidian pendent with a depiction of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha himself, which she put on right beside her black cross, making her way to Thailand she learned Muay-Thai, Kali in the Philippines, In India aside from learning Gatka, she discovered how the humans worship her mother,her grandfather, and her uncles, studying the different Hindu schools of thought as well the Sikhs, seeing their perspectives of the universe, eventually making her way to Africa where she learned the fighting styles of both the Zande & Zulu tribes, as well as the Dohemy tribes all-female warriors the Agojie. For the next few years, Naomi would continue to travel the earth, and learn many different things from its cultures, the final stop her training took her back to Asia to an island off the coast of China, Japan which was renowned for the skills of its warrior class the Samurai, of course learning the ways of the Katana was probably the hardest part of Naomi’s Journey, not because of the difficulty of Kenjitsu itself, but because of the society it inhabits, since Japan around this time was extremely isolationist and didn’t allow foreigners in (or barbarians as they call em) all trade was extremely limited and focused to a small island in the Nagasaki bay called Dejima, and even in her human form Jordan still stuck out, through a lot of trouble she eventually managed to find a Kenjitsu master, one who had studied nearly the forms of the art, a direct descendant of the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi, although Naomi was a prodigy with the way of the sword, she still had difficulty with the mental side of it, since all of this training was so she would face her mothers killers, it went against the zen like philosophy of Kenjitsu, although she manage to get over this blocks, as she realized this wasn’t just about revenge for her mothers this was about making sure those monsters could never hurt anyone again, soon enough she managed to complete her training, and like with the forging of her broadsword at the beginning of her training tour, she would have a katana forged at the end, in the same way using the alloy, as well as receiving the same blessings, she bid farewell to Master Miyamoto, and promised to face her murders not for the sake of revenge but in the name of holy justice. Naomi returned to Hell to finally join the Vishakanya of Kali. Once she was back, the Countess Valentine, would initiate her into the Vishakanya, Naomi cleared the trials with little ease, all before facing the Countess as the final trial, although the Countess was the most challenging opponent she has faced so far, Naomi was able to defeat her but just barely. Alexandria and the Vishakanya welcomed Naomi into their ranks with open arms, one of the first things Naomi learned about the Vishakanya was that they weren’t only comrades in arms, but also lovers, in the same vein as the Sacred Band of Thebes of Ancient Greece, the Vishakanya of Kali were all lovers with each other, of course Naomi had absolutely no problem with this if anything she loved it, her natural Succubus hyper sex-drive managed to fully & freely show itself once part of this group, even though she loved all of her comrades very much there was one who she loved very deeply, the Countess herself Alexandra, it was a little awkward at first considering she was lovers with her mothers, but eventually that all passed the two developed a very special bond, during her first years as one of the Vishakanya, Naomi discovered a different path then revenge, one she was aware of already but still unsure of; one of justice, the Vishakanya’s activities were not only limited to Hell, but also to Earth, fighting against acts of darkness in both worlds, especially Earth, Naomi knew one day she would have her have her chance at avenging her mothers, but she can wait, for she has all the time in the universe, but until then, there were other monsters just as bad as Adam and Satan doing as they pleased, and someone needed to take them down, and that someone would be Jordan. Money was never an issue for the Vishakanya of Kali, especially since they are basically fronted by a Countess, but Jordan decided maybe it would be ok to make just a little money on the side, this was ok with the Order, as long as it doesn’t jeopardize their mission, or she didn’t loose sight her priorities, so Jordan decided to become a Bounty Hunter & Assassin for hire, as well as a Bodyguard (the Vishakanya of Kali already operated as bodyguards for Succubi who go missions up to Earth) now Jordan did have two conditions (when it came to the Assassin part) she would not target innocent people, the target must be truly deserve it. For the next century after many battles both in Hell & on Earth, Jordan would build up quite a reputation in Hells underworld to the point where people start calling her simply by her last name; Brimstone, and Naomi wears this simple moniker proudly. To her friends and lovers she is a sweet and compassionate woman who will fight for what’s right, to her enemies, she is a dark spirit of vengeance who has come to punish them for their sins, and she is coming with the hellfire & brimstone.
