The world stood still for the heretic, the great serpents warm breath flowing over him as the light above bathed them both. For decades he had struggled against this monster, only to be brought here and paraded around before his brood. He screamed, a dagger-like burning sensation filling his upper back as the serpent's dark essence begins to wrap around him. The corrupted embrace subsuming more and more of his body as it absorbs into his body. Whispers fill his mind, thoughts not his own. The cacophony of voices screams in unison to surrender to the prophet, to finally embrace his purpose. His muscles pulse with new energy as his dark shell begins to reshape, a sickening eye lurching open on his forehead. The feeling of euphoria fills his mind, the words of the prophet finally piercing his stubborn psyche as his rebirth ends.
Why did he resist this? Why should anyone refuse the dawn of their prophet... an indescribable feeling of glory and fullness no mortal could ever imagine!
