Zamiel Ozymandias--and son!
Quick demo of Nate's father (who will not be a major character, so this is just for fun):
Zamiel Ozymandias--note that Nate has legally changed his last name to Oz--is an Alaskan oil tycoon that calls himself a silver panther, as he's a snow leopard with no spots and a more consistent color layout...beautiful and very rare. Unsurprisingly, he has interesting ideas about maintaining the family genealogy and reputation, and is not at all happy that is son is both gay and extremely scruffy. But, unfortunately, Zamiel has been (accidentally) sterile for awhile, and has to rely on his only heir at this point, who wants none of the lifestyle. This is a lot of the explanation for Nate's piercings (aside from the...functionality of some), as well as his major, which we've determined is Environmental Sciences. Needless to say he's at odds with his father a lot, and he's taken to seducing hunky workers to access the oil rigs...and then ruin them! And of course have fun too. Zamiel is determined to make Nate see his ways by any means necessary, including sending extremely misguided attempts to seduce Nate, and this mindset partially inspired The Extractor as a way of literally reigning in his son.
And yes. Zamiel is quite hot, thank you for noticing. A number of folks are noticing that my characters seem to have hot relatives...but, really, isn't that usually where hot offspring come from? As you can tell by the sketch demo, I started with Shere Khan as a starting point to make him somewhat different from my other big cats.
For what it's worth, Nate will be in somewhat better shape in the comic going forward. I really liked having a nearly average-built guy around, but let's be real, if he's hanging around all these jocks, he's probably going to up his gym game just by default. He has the genetics, but for years wanted to be sure he looked nothing like his father. I've had difficulty picking a voice actor for Nate, but lately we're very much liking actor MIchael Rowland, aka Shred on the show Animal Control. And as Shred is a former Olympic snowboarder, Rowland's body is a good match here too!

I want Mr. Ozymandias to be tied up and gagged. There. I said it. I don't regret it. XD
I totally approve of starting off his design with Shere Khan, although interestingly, the sketch of him also looks a bit like Tai Lung from KFP! How fitting. ;D Also, "silver panther" sounds *sooooo* beautiful, I LOVE IT!!!
Huh, "accidentally sterile," I am curious how *that* came about... but at the same time, too worried it'll be something I wish I never learned! 0_0
Also, great justification for beefing up Nate! With the friend group he has, of course he'd start pumping iron and whatnot.

You already read our minds about Nate's father looking hot. And you are right again about sexy characters starting off with sexy fathers. They had to get their looks somewhere.
Zamiel is also quite buff. I assume he is somewhere in his 50s. And how does this guy not have a lover too? Unless some like him in secret.

What is the bear guy in the background doing? And why is his shirt up showing his nice round hunky belly? XD
Wait! Does Nate have a bellybutton piercing? Or is that just the color on the drawing?
But I like that he has bulked up. He was probably inspired by Cody, Todd, and all of the others. He'll have killer abs like his dad soon.

I have never actually heard of a silver panther, that is beautiful and unique. Too bad Zamiel is both in such an awful line of work and is apparently another douche. Not that I am completely unsympathetic to his desire to carry on the family line, particularly with his sterility, but... :/ (In this case, the means he uses to do so aside, good on Nate for doing what he can to bring the rigs and companies down while also spreading some pleasure around. ^_^)
And I have to say, while I too always appreciated that Nate had an average, somewhat chubby build, of course I can't help loving the fact you're having him buff up now. Of course he would, with the examples around him, and you can bet Cody at least would be happy to give him all kinds of pointers and routines, spot him, and so on. But he'll always be your fluffiest of guys other than Cody himself.
