Most people survive their encounters with Kethrix, as being a former adventurer himself, he knows how scary a ragtag group of nobody's can turn out to be. It's lead to the creation of his motto: "Treat everyone like they could kill you, but give them no reason to. If they still try, kill them first." It's something he tries to impress upon his kobold, Sjir. Sjir, however, still doesn't quite believe it. 'Rix is so BIG! He can win any fight! And, unfortunately for some people, Sjir enjoys watching Kethrix fight. Enough that he'll go looking for trouble. Being a high level sorcerer, Sjir is rarely in any actual danger, but he's also a good actor, and if Kethrix thinks his kobold is in danger... there's no telling what he'll do.
In this image, Kethrix is about to eat someone who threatened his kobold, or he's incapacitated a cultist, whom he doesn't believe are real people anyway.
Oh! You can also see his veins creeping up his neck, which means he's PRETTY mad.
Woo! Mawshot complete!

Theme aside I really enjoy the design of your dragon
He is totally awesome - gem dragons are absurdly underrated and incredibly cool it terms of unique features and traits
Something about floating crystals and the material of their horns and scales make them look otherworldly and totally magical
What an amazing creature he is

Totally understandable, I know the v-word isn't for everyone. I've been a watcher for well over a decade now, and now that I finally have a 'sona... I've got way more slice of life ideas than I do vore ideas for him. That's not to say he won't be in vore in the future, but I intend for him to feel like a person rather than just a caricature with the extent of the content I get of him. If I remember to, I can totally link you SFW stuff that I get of him.
I'm glad you like his design! I didn't want there to be too many parts to him, but he needed one more thing besides the gems. Having his heart visible was actually a much more impulsive addition to his design than you might think but it's just a small thing that makes him (hopefully) memorable. =)
He definitely looks majestic and otherworldly (and will wholeheartedly agree if you tell him), but he's about as unmysterious as they come when you get to know him lol. He's just a moderate narcissist who tries to do the right thing.
I don't know if I'd say gem dragons are underrated, I think they're just kinda unknown. I don't think they've ever been released in any Monster Manual; they're always part of later supplemental material. Thus for people just dipping their toes into D&D they're not one of the dragon types that they'd remember. For 5e for example they've only had statblocks for three years (out of 5e's 10 year lifespan) and now they're making a new edition and I don't think they'll be in the 2025 Monster Manual.

And it is definitely kind of shame that they are not known for a wider public
These make dragons' roster more diverse and more interesting in some ways especially with their much more gray morale and sometimes mysterious ways to approach hero parties and in terms of their goals they are not very clear usually
And despite them being a part of Tasha's Cauldron I still think they should add them into main manuals
But WoZC are what they are and always love play safe... so yeah you are probably right that they will not appear any time soon in any of editions
Yet I am glad that you found way to use such intersting concept for your character
Keep up amazing work at his character development
