So I tried to do a cover for the story I'm currently developing in my simplified "iconographic" Flash style (as seen here,) and it just would not "click" for me. Then I took a stab at doing it in my usual pen-'n-ink style, and not only did it click, it evolved into a big ol' MAD-style "fill every available space with something amusing" project on me. Not everything is exactly 100% how I wanted it, but all the critical elements came out well, and I am thoroughly pleased with it overall.
Gonna color it, but I needed to scan the lineart for compositing purposes anyway, so I figured I'd go ahead and post it :)

There's a lot of fun things here, like the two Spies, the passed-out satyr, the Ranma in shock over their new chest... I can only imagine that R2-D2 is screaming like mad and going as fast as his little tracks will let him.

Kass doesn't have black eartips, either. And with the KublaCon banner, I'm assuming that wasn't Kass/NotKass a moment ago...
Vayryn did go to a con, even dressed in an Ivenmoth uniform, with her boyfriend Corwyn also dressed in an Ivenmoth uniform. They went as both Pre-TF and Post-TF Kass, though Vayryn's color scheme is closer to Vizlet's (and matches the Oracle of Bakersroof, I discovered after the fact). That was a fun chapter to write. ^_^
