❝There are two blooms throughout the year that
always remain on Riches' mind: the first bloom
after the thaw and the last bloom before the freeze.
It is hard to distinguish the two. However, her
grandmother's tomes speak of plants that bear
flowers even in the depths of the Northernmost's
unforgiving winter. Riches hasn't yet come
across such a thing. . .❞
˗ˏˋI wanted to do something that felt warm
and intimate considering the weather is turning
the opposite. I would call it Warmth, but I've already
done that with another piece!
Because this admittedly half-finished drawing
was more for practicing rendering different materials
(I learned a reliable way to render mental/metallic things!)
I might revisit this idea, but make it a bit more. . .
thematic? Dynamic? I dunno if those are the right
words, but it'd just have to be something more
interesting than Riches just sitting pretty, I guess
because I really enjoy world-building but I feel
like I've done very little of that through my art!ˎˊ˗
