Maybe it's an aura effect that has a "coverage" area of application.

I recall seeing gags like this in cartoons, usually where the guy doers something dumb and shrinks to indicate his internal cringing.

Benny Hill did that, too--his office boss character said something sexist, the female co-worker pointed out that she was not his new secretary, but his new BOSS, and he shrank down until he was bug-sized, and then she stepped on him.

It's a real shame that all I really know about Benny Hill is the Yakety Sax music as I'm certain I missed out on a lot of entertainment.

Some of his routines are hilarious. The man was a comic genius--and he had been around since the 1950's!

You did very well with these! I like the third, fourth, and fifth scenes from the left. The playful, affectionate poses and facial expressions are very sweet!

The interactions are what I most enjoy drawing and being able to create a sequence of moments lets me build on the attitudes as they play out. Yeah, you're welcome to give it a shot if you like. I didn't line these up to actually make sure they flowed from one to the next so you're very likely to see some jankiness if you do try to play them out in sequence, but yeah, knock yourself out.
