This came from a dream that I only partially remember, here's what I can recollect:

-I was with two other people/humanoid creatures, we all could speak english. We were chased by a horde of monster creatures, could not tell what their appearances were specifically. We were capable of fending them off, but had to continue retreating, and so we made it to this large white stone spiral tower and raced up the stairs that circled the outer diameter.
Upon reaching the top of the tower, the three of us encountered a single entrance to a large central room. Three alien guardians stood in the room, waiting for us, told us they were sworn to fend off the hordes. They were 2.5 to 3 meters tall, very heavily armor plated, but extremely thin/slender humanoid bodies underneath, the color scheme of their armor was azure with a teal light glowing in some parts. Armor covered the faces but there was a circle of teal light where they would be seen. All three were carrying weapons that looked like spears or polearms, and their disposition towards us was friendly.

The entrance to the room was suddenly barricaded with huge books, and the guardians prepared to fight the intruders. Meanwhile, me and my two friends/teammates continued to the center of the room where there was a gaping black circular hole on the floor, leading to a massive dark chamber below. For some reason I knew we had to fight some huge monster down there and retrieve something valuable. Without thinking about it, we all flew down the hole into the collossal dark chamber. It didn't occur to me until after I woke up from the dream that I had a pair of wings I was flapping to fly around. could not remember if wings were leathery or feathered, or even if I was a human. The large monster in the chamber appeared to be a bony black dragon, which struck at all three of us as we scattered to avoid its attacks. I reached the bottom of the chamber and found an item that I can't remember what it looked like. Then quickly tried to fly back to the hole above as my two teammates fought the dragon.

Then I woke up.
