11" x 13" color pencil
Shot this with different lighting. The first pic lost some green and shading.
Colors still a bit off. A little to much blue.
(What is the best artifical light to draw and take pictures of pics by ?)
Made a slight fodification to an ear.
Original will be for sale at the AC art show.

If you can't scan the work, then the next best thing to do it photograph it. Preferably in sunlight, but since that's not always available, try taping a single layer piece of tissue or toilet paper over the flash to diffuse the light. What kind of camera are you using?
I bought a Cannon with 14x zoom 12mp. Dont remember the model, its at home. I'll try yuor suggestion with the flash. Never thought to try the flash.
It's a photographers trick I learned from a friend. It sounds like you're using a point-and-shoot camera, which can be fine. Just remember when using the zoom, to only use the cameras physical zoom (the moving lens), as the digital zoom works by drastically reducing image quality.
This is astonishingly beautiful and well done. The amount of detail and effort are not missed and they are spot on.
That is impressively detailed. Especially the fur. If human-like animals existed in the real world, THAT is how they would look.
I can most definitely see some improvements in the lighting here! It also seems colours look more vivid, like his loincloth and his arrows. Also the amazing yellowness seems to have made place for a more neutralized lighting, making his white fur, including his whiskers really come out nicely! I also noticed when comparing it to the previous version you rounded the ears a little more! :D Keep up the good work!
Though to be honest, this would be a critique if any negative aspects could be mentioned. And as far as I can see, nothing seems to be bugging my eye! So that's a negative aspect about this pic: It doesn't have negative aspects!
Anyway, you've improved this one into a very, noteworthy piece of art where everyone would be jealous at!

When I went to fix his ear, I could tell where I had already started to modify it and got sidetracked. no other changes were made to the pic, just used a different combination of incandessent and floresent lighting when taking the photo.
Awesome, especially the expression of the hunter!
Really, really awesome! I'm impressed!

Wow. Simply just wow...

This was another piece that inspired me in my Spirit Walk story. Although I didn't use this specifically in the story, I referenced it, by Bala's (The protagonist) former lovemate, "Charles"
Before she went on her walk at 17, she meet this handsome, and very kind Omac scout from another tribe, (The Omac, Anikawi and maybe a few others are tribel in this story.) and he was with her for about two years before he was killed. She was one that kind of liked the bad boys :) but she wasn't one that is easily fooled. She knew him well, and was totally safe in her arms.
Charles was patterned right after this handsome fellow of yours.

I remember seeing this a few months ago, but I had no idea as to who the artist was. Now I can give him compliments on it! Great work on the fine details as well. I especially like how genuine it all seems when you put them all together.
This artwork reminds me of Hunter from The Legend of Spyro trilogy.
Disregard my last comment... I realized I made a mistake. XD
Nevertheless, you are very welcome. An excellent work of art like this deserves such high praise.

This is really nice and I love anything archery-related! :D
There are a few minor anatomy problems but nothing glaringly ovious. I'm mainly a little confused about the glove/brace thing. While an arm brace is a typical thing that archers use, having a glove with the fingers covered on the hand that holds the bow seems a bit pointless :o Also the quiver looks like it might slip and spill her arrows with the strap going above her breast rather than beneath.
Anyway, this is just nitpicking and the piece itself is gorgeous either way! :)

This is an excellent archer, ah, so hard to get a pose like this right, but I think you nailed it! Again reminded of good times, this time with a certain race in a certain PC RPG...
Absolutely stunning. The excitement in the eyes is palpable. You can just feel the tension in those muscles. Loved the detail in the bow and quiver.
