Lady Kaelith Frostshard
Title: Noble of House Frostshard
Born into the prestigious House Frostshard, a lineage renowned for their craftsmanship and engineering brilliance within the Chromalite nobility, Lady Kaelith Frostshard was expected to uphold her family's legacy as a leader in scientific and military innovation. However, from the moment of her birth, it was clear that Kaelith was different—her body deviated from the typical patterns of metal and crystal found in other Chromalites. Instead, she emerged with skin of deep azurite, a rich, blue-hued stone, interlaced with glowing white crystalline veins that pulsed with cold energy. The unusual energy emitted from these fissures made it nearly impossible for others to remain close to her for extended periods, as the intense chill she radiated was both unsettling and painful.
While the Chromalites embrace many forms of crystalline and metal variations, Kaelith's mutation was seen as an anomaly—one that evoked unease among her peers. The energy that emanated from her was cold to the touch, creating an aura of frost around her wherever she went. Objects in her vicinity would freeze, and the air itself grew bitterly cold in her presence. Even her closest family members found it difficult to interact with her physically, a barrier that only deepened her sense of isolation.
As she grew older, the discomfort others felt around her became more pronounced, and whispers of "Frostborn" and "Chillbringer" followed her wherever she went. While the Chromalite people generally valued the unique compositions of their bodies, Kaelith's condition was perceived as an unnatural curse, something to be hidden away rather than celebrated. Her noble status provided some protection from outright rejection, but the social circles of nobility subtly (and sometimes openly) shunned her, treating her as an outcast.
