| The OP was hype man, it holds that excitement really phew, but more so for me who knew what to expect down the line? However, if I were to say one thing, the ED absolutely fantastic. Such an atmospheric yet vague atmosphere, it's giving me Serial Experiment Lain vibes. But with a dash of hype into it. Imminent dopamine overdose! I was worried the anime may not be able to portray the brutality and terror that this part of the story would tell. I'm happy to say that fortunately, my worries were for nothing. DAMN!!! The life and death situation was suspenseful as fuck and just moving an inch felt as though your life is forfeited. Of course, the thing that I want to see m, most is the Statue of God's sinister smile/grin. Oh boy, it is delectably horrifying. I'd say they kinda fumbled it with the usage of a white glowing iris halo. Would've been a tad more stunning had it been red like in the manhwa though that could be argued since the statue colour has a whiter tinge in the anime compared to the blue hue in the manhwa. Nevertheless, that's a sight to behold in all its petrifying glory!!!!! There's 1 point that I adored in this ep. The way the OST is integrated into the events of the ep was truly awesome at the part where Sung Jin-Woo crawled to the singing statue. That part was truly the zenith of humanity's indomitable spirit. |

| So far the first two episodes didn't impress me much, but I guess the show will change from here on out. At least that usually happens when the protagonist "dies". |
| Great episode! Very tense and dramatic (surprised about all of the gore though), and it really reminded me of an old-school D&D trap/puzzle (especially something you might find in a DCC module). I'm not exactly sure what he just unlocked. This series is turning out a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. |

| The statues in the dungeon are assumed to be of S Rank. Damn, the first episode had Korean names but now they switched to Japanese names. That’s so not cool. Joo Hee is Mizuki. Jin Ah is Aoi. Jin Woo is Mizushino Shun. Jin Woo lost a leg and an arm in the dungeon. He was the only one sacrifice on the altar, which prompted the secret quest, Courage of the Weak. He is prompted to accept being a Player. Wonder what that means. |

| Well that was an intense episode. Only the leader and Joohee were the ones who stuck till the end. Sung sure has balls to stay back and hold all of them off like that. Not to mention he figured all if that shit out under such intense pressure. I kinda called it in the first episode that they had to worship the statue and stuff to survive. Sung's VA popped off. His screams and inner monologue felt really guttural and authentic. He got some kind of notification for surviving the whole deal? Also I really hope the rest of them survived even though what they did was selfish. It was still understandable. It's just human nature. The opening and the outro songs were absolute bangers! |

| The "secret mission" feels like an incredibly bizarre cop out. I hope I get a more extensive explanation about that. 2/5 |
