Last, but not least, at least for the time being, we have a dragon type joining the ranks of my Pokemon OCs. Dragonair, to be exact - I figured the almost muppet-like face of the original design didn't really work well with anthrofied looks, so I noodled it up a little.
Fittingly enough, Nion here is a traditional performer from the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. They usually perform dances, but also have done singing and acting, though their partial facial paralysis that gives them a permanent resting bitch face makes it a bit difficult to perform as an actor, at least without masks.
Little bonus storytime: Originally this character's name was gonna be Youdron, while Nion was a wholly different character. However, realizing the two were visually so similar, I've decided to fold them together, call the amalgamation Nion, and have that old character that got absorbed into this one be a sort of ... legendary hero of sorts that is portrayed by Nion in a fictional dance. Hence the white dragon mask! I might keep Youdron in the backpocket as I develop the character more though - maybe Nion's a stage name of sorts, hmm.
At any rate, as usual, this piece was done by the illustrious
starfallhybrid and as usual, I am very glad she is able to put up with my crazy requests lol.
