Radsul was watching what Ariamis was doing with the pumpkin. With small blade in her hand, she let her beloved look what she had made.
"Ta-dah!" Her voice was soft, yet filled with pride. "What do you think?"
Radsul looked at the carved pumpkin, thoroughly watching Ariamis' work.
"Looks great," Radsul said with a slight smile on his muzzle. "Good that Syren training can be somewhat useful."
They both laughed after he said that.
"Next one will be even better," Ariamis said with a cheerful tone. "But I need another pumpkin."
"I have one right here," Radsul replied while grabbing another pumpkin?"
"Can you pass it to me?"
"Only if you ask nicely."
She immediately jumped to take the pumpkin, but he expected that. He wrapped his arm around her neck and after putting the pumpkin away, he started to playfully rub her head, causing both of them to laugh.
"Ah, my little whirlwind…" Radsul's tone was soothing.
"I love you," she said softly.
"I love you too," he replied, as he released her, not before placing a kiss on her forehead.
She grabbed another pumpkin and started to expertly carve it, with her beloved looking at her work and keeping her company.
