My last one was too big and a few years ago. If everyone is special then no one is, so I pared it down and added some choice picks since 2021. Because cataloguing your fictional crushes is a way to spend three hours on this Earth.
Commentary
- Rivals of Aether newbies be slobbering over Clairen and Fleet when the true GOAT has yet to bless the sequel with her presence ⚡
- I am definitely a cat person.
- Renamon's back on top because damn she really is the whole package.
- Kara flew up the ranks almost instantly. Got the hands, the catsuit, and she's mute which is a fetish I apparently have now. If only I liked Monkey Wrench at all.
- I always forget how much I love Incineroar. So big and grabby. I miss back-throwing fools to death at the ledge.
- I'm really endeared by ineffectual people/ characters. Welfin, Kiara, Kara, Roxxy, Juno. Seeing them be ditzy failures gets my moe going.
- Scar might be a terrible king, but he'll always be my #1 queen.
- I would draw Kass much more if he didn't have such annoying details/ patterns.
- Loona is thoroughly unlikable, and I hate all of Medrano's work, but she squeaks into last place because she's really hot. Roxxy, despite being a Loona clone, has softer edges and inspires more pity.

I don’t agree with the design point. I know it’s a common criticism to say Medrano’s designs are over detailed, but they really are. For every decent design like Loona, Stollas, or Vortex, there are a bunch of designs that are so busy. Angel Dust in specific makes my eyes go crossed, or the way too many supporting characters in Hazbin.
Oh, I don't think you're wrong there from a purely artistic criticism point of view, but that has its own kind of charm, I think. Maybe it's just nostalgia, I don't know, but the overly intricate and angular character designs - while they would be obnoxious to actually draw if I did it - are just fun.
